I’ll never forget the night where I traveled back in time to sock a mister Thomas Jefferson, then steal his fanciest shoes and finest coat just to turn around and have them stolen by Bonnie and Clyde. I traveled to the wrong time period at the wrong time. Oops. But enough about that nonsense, this story I’m gonna tell you is a complete knock out!
I remember it as if it were yesterday… well as a matter of fact it was yesterday.
It was a dark and stormy night or something. Or was it a calm night? Oh bother, what does it matter anyways? I was too busy solving a case to look at the clock. It was the case of the missing diamond. A diamond so valuable they looked it up in a safe mode of diamonds, then they locked that safe in a solid gold vault, then they put that vault in a bank made of titanium. A mouth full, huh?
Well I'm not exactly a detective for say, I’m actually a paper pusher, y’know I sort out the files and give the real detectives the information. But I’m far more important than those hotshots. Why without me they wouldn’t have a neat space to work, the case files in order, or the information they need sorted out for them. Why, they would be lost, I tell you! Lost!
My name is Jane Doe. Now enough of the into, I got a case to solve!
A snarky paper pusher at the police station gets fired for trying to solve a case of the missing diamond, so she teams up with the cop who originally worked on the case. Will she get her dream job of being a detective?
