Even though the atmosphere was cool and peaceful, there was no misunderstanding of the tension that filled the room as soon as Maha-Asapatakarya read the letter brought in by the eagle. All the fear and nervousness was evident on his face as he read the letter over and over as if reading it again would change the words written in it.
This was the first time Jakaya had seen his Guru depict such strong emotions over something. It was as if his Guru stood there bare-not without any shield of peace and love. Not a facade of love-just a pure display of his nightmares coming to life.
Maha-Aspatakarya still had not changed his position and a bead of sweat passed down from his grey hairline to his aged cheeks. Jakaya couldn't contain his curiosity and finally asked the question-disturbing the silence over the room, “What is it, Guruji?"
This finally broke the from his trance and he looked up at Jakaya, still shaken. He looked completely lost at words and disturbed, “What is written in that letter that has left you so fragile, Guruji?"
"MahaYudh."Guruji finally said widening his eyes in utter disbelief.
This seemed to strike Jakaya right at his heart and he understood the pain that had spread across the Guruji's face. “Are you sure, Guruji?"
"Yes, my child. The time has finally come for the old prophecy to be proven true. MahaYudh is about to be wrath upon the Jagadyoni and no one can stop it." Maha-Aspatakarya spoke in loud voice as he feared for the world and dropped the letter with his old fragile, shaking hands into the drawer of his desk.
