I'm studying quite a lot these days, almost ready to finally begin working on Mark of Darkness C.0!
This is the first one, i'll try to make these doodles daily, it will be fun to improvise them!
And this page took 30 mins :)
As you can see, i started drawing comics about anything in the shortest time possible, just to practice and get into it right away, with no prior planning nor any thinking/storyboard.
Of course these are also drawn with no construction lines, and in fact i still have to improve quite a bit with this, since there are too many errors.
But i'm confident that over time this kind of exercise will help a great deal;
It's also awesome because it represents what making comics should feel like: stop thinking and obsessing over little details, get your pen and draw whatever you want, without having to wait to have something you deem worthy of being drawn.
Everything is worthy of being drawn, and it will be great practice!
It's about something i hate: those plots where the hero is a clueless extremely lucky guys who happens to luckily do the right thing at the right time, without even realizing it.
They feel like dumb faces glued on a mannequin, which is why in this page the main hero doesn't move/change expression.
Quick random comics i draw to practice and have fun - everything is done as quickly as possible, no construction lines/underdrawing and no prior planning/storyboards.
Everything is completely improvised, for fun!
