The name Shirome was given to her by the city folks as when she suddenly appears, you would see her gleaming bright amethyst eyes that
One day, While she was walking around amusing herself, she met two young girls about four years
"Why you cry?" She spoke out a few words she knows.
"We are lost. Mommy!" One of the girls answered and cried louder.
"Don't cry." She said while comforting them.
The two little girls hugged her while crying loudly even though she is dirty and smelly. She carried them both and started to walk towards the nearest police station.
"Help. Them." She told the policemen when she entered the police station.
"How can we help young one?" the police asked. "What's wrong?"
"Them. Lost. Please Help." She said.
The policeman peeked at the two little girls and was shocked that the two little girls are the daughters of one of the most influential people in the city, the Hayao Family, and it would be difficult for one to go against them but no one fears them but everyone likes the Hayao family instead as they are known for being generous and kind to others regarding their status.
"I see. Please put them down on the couch first. I'll go get some blankets for them." The policeman said and helped her to lie the two little girls who are sound asleep.
"Please sit down first." he offered her a sit. "You must be hungry. Here have some bread and milk." He also offered some bread and milk.
"Thank you." She said and reached to get the bread and milk.
"I'll just make a phone call so that their parents can pick them up. Ok?" He said to Shirome and she nodded.
"Yes ma'am. They are safe and is now asleep." The policeman answered on the phone. "Please rest assured." He answered. "The one who found them?" He paused for a minute and peeked at Shirome who is curiously looking around while eating the bread and holding the glass of milk and is behaving like a good child. "Er, it is a child that brought them both here."
"Ok then. We'll come right away. Please take care of them." The Lady on the phone told the policeman.
"Yes ma'am. You can rest your mind at ease. They are in good hands." The policeman answered.
"Thank you Mr. Police Officer." The Lady on the phone thanked the policeman and hang up. He walked towards Shirome who was staring outside.
"Have you finished eating?" He asked her and she nodded. "Can you tell me what your name is?" He asked her but she didn't answer.
"Are you waiting for someone? Do you need to call someone to pick you up?" he asked. She shook her head.
The whole station was quiet and a few moments later, Shirome noticed a car coming and parked outside and a pretty lady came out of the car rushing inside the police station.
The policeman stood up from his seat and greet the lady who rushed to him as well.
"Where are my precious daughters?" He asked the policeman.
"They are here Lady Hayao." The policeman led the lady to the two girls who are still sound asleep.
"Oh my dear little princesses. I'm so worried about you." She said and hugged them both that they were woken up.
"Mama!" They both cried and hugged their mother tightly.
Shirome, on the other side just watched them with their dramatic reunion after a day of being away from each other. Then she noticed that someone was peeking on the window behind her. When she turned to look at who that was, it was already gone. While they were busy crying, she took the opportunity to sneak out and took the remaining bread on the plate.
"Thank you so much for taking care of my daughters Officer." The Lady thanked the officer.
"It is nothing Lady Hayao. It is actually the little girl who found them that you should be thankful with. She brought them here carrying them on both of her hands sound asleep." The policeman said to the lady.
"Well, is the kid. I want to thank her for bringing them here safely." She asked the policeman.
"Well she is over th..." The policeman stopped when he saw that the seat where Shirome was sitting before is now empty. "Eh? She was here a moment ago. She also took the remaining bread i gave to her." He said while trying to search around.
"What is her name?" She asked. "So that if ever one day we meet her we may thank her for saving my daughters."
"Well, I asked her name but she didn't tell me?" The policeman explained.
"What does she look like then? I bet she is a pretty young girl."
"I wasn't able to see her face clearly as her long hair was covering her whole face. She wore ragged clothes, though she was not that dirty and smelly given that she is be a beggar."
"Oh is that so?"
"Yes Lady Hayao. I'm so sorry I could not get hold of her."
"Don't blame yourself. I'm sure she might be in a hurry as to leave without saying goodbye."
"Mama!" the two girls tugged their mother's dress lightly to gain her attention.
"Yes my darlings? Do you want anything?" She asked them but they shook their heads.
"What it is then?" She asked.
"We saw a very pretty sister." One spoke.
"She has pretty bright purple eyes." The other added which gave the policeman and Lady Hayao little shock.
"She has a pretty face and voice too." said the first one.
"But cannot speak properly." Added the other.
"Could it be that it is the rumored Shirome?" The policeman said.
"How could it be?" said the lady.
