Dear Notes

Ya I know how cheesy it is to start a “Diary” when you in 26 years old. But then again I don't really have any friends in my 20’s so do I really have room to speak. Let's just start this off right. I’m Mei, and today I realized at a dinner with my brother (Ray) and are parents that I had nobody to call a friend… I guess this shouldn’t be that crazy to think. I was never close to anybody in school since my family moved so often, then the fact I am a manager at my company. Like who would want to be friends with you boss anyways. It did bother me since I never needed to think about it, well until today… When my brother said he was getting married. Everyone was so happy, but then he asked me to invite my friends to help fill in the wedding seats since we have such a small family on our side. I froze like ice in the freezer. I panicked in my head “Crap, I don't want them to think I'm some lonely bitter person.” and “Should I have been making friends.” So I screamed out “Ho I’ll just tell them now.” I know, so F-ing stupid. Then my Dad had to ask “Are they here right now, how wonderful. Where are they?” Bless his sweet heart, I panicked even more and pointed to the flower guys… 4 guys wearing leather jackets who were helping set flowers for the mother or something. Then my Mom and Dad called them over, so I keeped digging my grave and said “Let me go get them, just wait here.” My Brother laughed into his glass at the whole thing. Now that I think about it, Ray knows I didn’t actually have any friends and did it just to mess with me. I guess that's what I get for not thinking about his stupid question. Anyways back to the guys, I walked up to the tallest one, this guy was like a tree with arms. He was so scared at first but then I realized he was planting tulips in the front of the restaurant. I got a glimpse at his name tag, it was (Alexander) like Alexander the Great. The other 3 were just as odd. One  of them was a big buff guy, then another with greased up hair and a golden chain around his neck, and a skinny one with glasses with a creak in 1 lens. Alexander asked if I needed something and I just asked “I need you 4 to pretend to be my friends.” But he turned to the others and they all nodded like it was normal. Alex and I walked to the table with my brother and parents and I introduced him. Just the sight of him nearly scared my Mom half to death. My brother said “So you know where my sister Mei,where from. Since she never talks about you.” I was about to look so dumb until Alexander said “ Oh from a concert we had a long time ago.” My family and even me were surprised. “You mean like rock or something?” My Mom asked, and he nodded like it was facts. I don’t know how but I wanted to cry with joy since it looked like they believed it, even Ray believed the whole thing. After sometime he needed to leave with his mother who was beautiful, she was so sweet and had the kind of energy that only a woman of pure love could have, it still surprised me he was related to her. Her and her sons were like night and day. They looked like bikers with a record and she was bright and cheerful like a teacher for pre-k. When they left I also chose to head home after paying. My brother stopped me as I was entering my car, and said “Maybe I don’t know you like I thought, see you later and maybe send me a CD to listen to.”  I felt like a fool, but I think I should write it down to help me remember what not to do when asked stupid junk. Well I just hope when I see Alexander I need to thank him, I’ll write later after heading to the shop.
