I felt the air fill my lungs back up. My heart beat rang like a gong in my ears. The warm bright light sinking into my eye lids forcing me to open them, Is this what heavens like? I asked myself, but I was sure I'd drown in the pits of purgatory I guess god had other plans. 

My eyes took a moment to focus, I rolled my head around to see that, I was in a forest of some sort? I tasted hair in my mouth, trying to spit it out was difficult because it felt more like chunks then strands. I picked up the chunk of hair to see it was, pink? "What the hell..." I groaned. I sat up slowly, scratching my ears. I stopped quickly.

Why does my ears feel sharp?! 

I felt around my ears more, sharp and long!

I looked down to see more pink hair covering my body. I felt a cold breeze pass by my womanhood.

"Are you okay?"

 My head snapped to side where I heard a deep voice. I tried to stand up so I could run away but my legs felt like jelly, I fell down instantly. "W-Who are you?!" I exclaimed.

"No need to get aggressive." The voice came from a darker area so all I saw was a silhouette 

"Where am I!" 

"Most people know where they are." I heard the man (I assumed) step closer.

"Well I'm not most people..." I stood on guard. 

"Before I come any closer." He threw a large sheet at me. "Put that on." I respected the way he reacted so I coperated, I pushed myself up on a tree to stand up. I moved the hair out of the way to wrap the sheet around me and tying it. 

Once I was finished he stepped out the shadows. "YOU HAVE A JELLYFISH ON YOUR HEAD!" I yelled. He ran up on me and covered my mouth, I stomped on his foot to get him off. "What the hell was the for?!" I wanted to punch him or whatever he is. "It's not safe in this area, you can't talk to loud." He groaned, shaking his foot. I took a better look at him, he indeed had a jellyfish on his head but besides that everything else was normal. He wore a vest that looked like a suit, he smelled of alchol.

"You still haven't answered my question..."

"Save them for later, we have to get you out this forest. Can you walk?" 

I stared at him, did he not see me fall on the ground?

"I guess that's my answer." He a bent down a little. Signaling to get on his back, I was hesitant but I ended up getting on, what other choice did I have? I laid my head on the soft jellyfish--head thing.

    "So... Are you my guardian angel or something?" I tried making small talk. 

"What?"

"You know, since I'm dead and everything your supposed to take me to heavens gate or something."

"What are you talking about?" He giggled. Is this guy stupid? I asked myself. I was convinced this was some type of heaven. 

"My turn, are you a sorceress?" He asked, what type of medieval bullshit was that? "Your joking right?" 

"Well I saw you just spawn from a beam, and you look like a sky elf so thats why I asked."

"A sky elf?..." 

"You really don't know anything." He sighed. 

"To explain the short stuff, your in the kingdom of mountains. Your ears indicate your a elf. Your hair, eyes, and height also tell what type of elf you are, your pretty tall for a elf so your a sky elf/cloud elf." 

My brain tried to process everything, "I was reborn..." I whispered.

"What was that?" 

"Oh uhm, nothing." That was the only explanation, I had been reborn! That means I could be anything! A princess? Or maybe one of those vampire stories, or a maid story where the prince falls in love with the maid? I could be a heroine!

My legs ached and tingled and my memories were a blur.

 I remember clearly being slammed by a bus, and I remember my hobbies. Then waking up, here. But I also didn't want to be reborn. I didn't want the responsibility of living again but obviously we can't all be winners. 

While we were on our little journey to where ever he was taking me, I took a moment to try and remember my past life and see wether it was worth the death. "Do you have a name?" It took me a moment to process his question because my memory was so bad I couldn't even remember my name. "D...Demetris." The name rolled off my tongue like if I had said it a thousands times, "Interesting name... I'm Kukaik." Interesting? If mines interesting what the hell does that make your's?  

"If you don't mind me asking, where are we going?"

"I'm taking you make to my tavern."

"Your what now?"

"You know... A bar? Will I need to hit your head with something because your starting to get dumber by the seconds."

I began to passout because of the excruciating pain that took over my legs.
