The sun was setting, painting the horizon in shades of orange and pink, and the clouds glowed softly in the fading light. As the sun dipped low in the sky, casting a warm golden hue.
Eliena lifted her hand to shield her eyes, hooked by the beauty above.
-“Eri! Stop staring at the sun and get in here!”
Her brother called from the entrance.
He sounds extra annoying today that's for sure Elie thought . Ever since their mother signed them up for the outdoor badminton class, her brother had been insufferable.
“Honestly, I don’t know what Mom was thinking,” she thought to herself, rolling her eyes. “It’s like she unleashed a badminton fanatic. Ever since that day, he’s been buzzing around like a hyperactive bee, talking about nothing but serves, smashes, and strategies. It’s exhausting!”
She turned to him, annoyance bubbling to the surface.
-“Why do you always have to rush me? I’m just trying to enjoy the view!”
-“Yeah, well, the view isn’t going to play badminton for you. You know you can’t just stand there forever,”
he replied, a teasing grin on his face.
Eriana rolled her eyes
-“I don’t even have a racket! I’m not ready for this. I’m lazy, and I don’t want to embarrass myself.”
Her brother rolled his eyes even more, stepping closer.
-“I’ve got plenty of rackets! You can use one of mine. I’ve got a lightweight one, a power one, and even a beginner’s model. Trust me, you’ll be fine!”
-“Seriously? You have that many?”
she asked, raising an eyebrow, her irritation softening just a bit.
-“Of course! I’m basically a badminton hoarder,”
he chuckled.
- “Come on, Eri. Just give it a shot. You might actually enjoy it.”
Eriana sighed, the tension in her shoulders easing a fraction.
-“Fine. But if I trip and fall, I’m blaming you.”
-"Nevermind, I'm abit worried that you might break it Eri"
Issac muttered
Eriana looked at him. She smiled. It wasn't the nicest kind.
