In this world, there’s a little community of werewolves (in comparison to humans). Near Remini (the main character)’s pack, there are two other ones: Mercury and Nebula. Remini’s and Mercury are the two mains packs of the area while Nebula (which is, by the way, Virgile’s pack) is a little and less powerful pack a bit further and isolated.

Generally, humans aren’t aware of the existence of werewolves because werewolves aren’t allowed to tell humans about them. Usually, werewolves mix as little as possible with humans, sometimes in school and still, it isn’t usually the case because there are schools created by werewolves for werewolves.

As usual, there are three sub-genders: alpha, beta, and omega.

While lots of people can be alphas there’s only one Alpha who is directing the pack (he would be referred as “THE alpha”). It’s the same for betas, but they’re more, about three in general depending on the traditions and the size of the pack.

Alphas, omegas and betas can be of all sizes and weights, but society has some general preferences for each sub-gender.

In Remini's pack and the neighbour's packs, there isn't much shifting in wolf form except for some parties, for some alphas and betas while hunting, the pups, fights...

In Remini's pack, there isn't A packhouse, the pack is despatched in a lot of adjacent houses and buildings.

 You can get engaged from fifteen and you can mate at sixteen. 

Engaged has the same meaning for humans and werewolves, except werewolves bite their partner and offer a ring. The bite mark is this moment temporary and if it isn't remade in 1-2 years, it will disappear.

To mate means to have sexual intercourses while redoing the bite mark, this time it lasts definitively. The most equivalent for humans would be marriage.

Usually, the bite mark is only done by one of the partners. Sometimes in female beta-male beta couples, it can be done by both partners.

ð   Alphas (males and females) can impregnate female betas and omegas in general. They can’t get pregnant (males and females)

ð  Male betas can impregnate female betas and omegas in general, they can’t get pregnant either

ð  Female betas and omegas can get pregnant and cannot impregnate anyone.

What’s usually badly seen:

ð  Any other pairing than Alpha-Omega or Male Beta-Female Beta. 

ð  If two members of the couple aren’t of the same social status or social pack.

ð  For omegas, not being engaged, then mate, then have kids after about 20 (last deadline)

ð  For omegas, to be sexually active before they mate

ð  For alphas, to not have heirs.

ð  Interacting (too much according to werewolves) with humans

ð  Not acting according to the preconceived ideas of your sub-gender in general

ð  Rogues

ð  Not respecting the hierarchy and discussing orders
