Lost. I feel lost. The world changed too fast and at the center I stood clueless like a dog without a leash. 2064 feels like hell in the Universe. I was once a daring girl, dreaming of the wonders life will bring. Now, I am a monster. A vicious beast whose chains were broken. In a universe where tyrants rule as gods and heroes scour the infinitude of space for the means to overthrow those undeserving of their entitlement, I will find my creators. Their strength is not my concern. All of them will feel the cold end of my kunai gliding through their throat. I will not end until I have tainted their blood on my weapon.
They think their dogs can protect them or their knowledge. They made me what I am, a predator.
The lust for blood and the hellbent rage that laid deep inside Destoria is slowly pulling her humanity away. She kills without remorse or mercy. The brutal experimentation that the Supreme Leader oversaw was turning her from the humble soul she once was to a fiend.
She made quick work of the soldiers in the facility. She didn’t care if they had a family, or if they were just following orders. The bloodlust she is burdened with must be satiated.
She slowly walked to the end of the hallway where the data banks were located. Her heels made a clicking sound with every step she took. It echoed throughout the hallways as a warning to the impending danger if one chooses to enter.
As the doors to the data banks opened, the luminescent glow of her orange pupils scanned through the room. It was empty.
She would let her guard down, accessing the terminals to locate a certain file. Of all the documents she could steal to aid the rebellion that laid deep inside the universe, she chose something highly irregular.
Science division staff document 77, Carter Mile. Current status: marked for assassination. Reason: treason. Process more upon download.
She looked at the image of this Carter Mile. Her eyebrows caved in as she hurried to find a drive to download this information. All she wanted to know was his current predicted location. An algorithm that this tyrannical faction uses to gain an upper hand of their opponent.
Before she had a chance to read the download status, a gush of wind entered the room. It was odd because the facility had no windows. It felt like a ghost entered the room. It was cold, but her predatorial senses kicked in. It was another beast.
“I was beginning to think my presence went unnoticed.” She raised her voice as it echoed through the hallway.
At the end stood one of the most vicious operators that was stationed to guard this facility. Codename Omega. A man gifted with the power of speed and agility. With his gift he uses it with sheer violence and without remorse. He glared deep at Destoria as his jaws lowered, revealing a voice box of sorts.
“Destoria Roxx, the failed experiment.” His deep and cybernetic voice would echo back.
“Sweetie, do I look like such a failed product?” As she turned towards him, we would see her face. More monster than a woman. She truly is a vicious beast.
Omega stood tall. His shadow covered Destoria entirely. His visor pulsated before he spoke his next words.
“The Supreme Leader wants you dead.”
“Come get me then.” She replied without a pause to process Omega’s words.
Both of them would immediately clash. Destoria’s vulnerability made her stronger than Omega. However, Omega was faster in almost every way. He manoeuvred through her attacks with ease. Swiftly, he would grab hold of her leg. Like a dirty bag, he would swing her around, slamming her on the ground repeatedly.
When he had finally made Destoria confused and sozzled in the situation, he would begin to beat her up. The metal on his fingers would be covered in her blood as he landed brutal punches to her face.
Eventually, he was able to tire her out and make her weak. He held her up by the neck onto the wall and began choking her. Omega felt that as a Commander of his unit, he shouldn’t allow his enemies to mock him as such. He felt that Destoria had viewed him as inferior or an equal. Though he is the last recruited into the tyrannical faction, he should be treated as the most dangerous operator alive.
His blue luminescent visor glared deeply into Destoria’s glowing eyes as he muttered the words,
“Now you die, worthless bitch.”
In an act made by Destoria that caught Omega off guard, he would loosen his grip onto her neck. It appears when Omega was inflicting his anger towards her, he made a crucial mistake of not disarming her. Due to that, Destoria was able to nicely pierce his armour and his abdomen. Blood immediately started pouring out and through all the violence that happened in this parry, Destoria acted once and it was the most crucial blow out of the two.
Stumbling back, Omega grabbed the Kunai and slowly wiggled it out. He looked to Destoria in an injured position while she was catching her breath.
“You shouldn’t really depend on the theatrics, wild dog. You really are a fucking idiot.” Destoria spoke to him while arming herself with a fresh pair of kunais that rested on her belt shaft on her back.
Before she could even attack, Omega rushed out of the scene to save himself. He knew that the mighty Supreme Leader would rather have the failed experiment escape than lose a trustworthy companion and servant of the throne. Nevertheless, Omega learned much from the Supreme Leader. One such lesson is accountability. He was entrusted with such a mission that placed his life at stake. Destoria is a very skilled opponent that even He is cautious of. He sent Omega because he knew that even if she managed to escape, he would still be able to bring good news. That news would be that during the parry, Omega was able to place a tracking chip onto Destoria.
She managed to download the file. In a rush, she would make her swift and stealth exit out of the facility. She rested on the forest trees like a roaming spirit as she read through the files.
She is searching for the traitor Carter and the algorithm suggests that Carter is under the protection of this rebellious organisation that lies deep inside the galaxy.
This organisation, the New Allegiance, once was the pinnacle of galactic protection and justice society for all sentient beings. However, the organisation fell due to the widespread corruption of the leaders that the Allegiance provided aid to. This caused distrust among the people and it laid claim for another faction. Though this new faction was very traditional, it paved a way for trust and promise for the people in peace, harmony and security. It is exactly the hypocrisy that people like Destoria hate. Even if she is not in full control of herself, she remembered the time when she was human. She was on her knees in tears beside the grave of the person she once loved. The man that stood looking down on her as she weeped helplessly was the devil.
