"Isn't that Jennie? The girl with a curse?"
"It is her!"

My name is Jennie, the girl with a "curse". It all started three years ago when people found it odd that I had naturally "unnatural" hair. But one day, I was told that my parents had died. Knowing they were dead made me smile. Yes I know, creepy! But you'd smile if you knew. I had accidentally overheard one of their conversations.

"Dave! She's our daughter!" My mother yelled.
"She's cursed, Elaine!" My father yelled back.
"She is not!"
"We'll get money!"
"...how much?"
"About 10 million."
"Fine..."

But before I got sold to get experimented on, my parents got into a terrible car crash and of course, I'd get blamed for it.

"I heard she killed her parents."
"Really?"
"Yeah."

I heard distant voices from my fellow classmates. I sighed, but they walked up to my desk and started playing with my hair, their disgusting laughter filling my ears. Like just leave me in peace!

Suddenly one of them suggested,"Let's cut her hair."
I started to scream,"NO!"

This was my hair, why would they-- SNIP! They actually cut my hair...she cut my hair. I slowly stood up as tears ran down my cheeks. I shut my eyes tightly and screamed as loud as I could.

When I reopened my eyes I saw my classmates on the floor and the desks and chair were all over the place. Did I do this? I was hesitant at first, but then I ran to the roof.

I sighed again as I looked up at the sky. I can't believe this...am I really cursed?

Suddenly a voice broke through my thoughts,"Hey you!"
I looked over and saw a girl in a gray beanie, she seemed to have blue hair. She also wore clothing that was a little odd.

"Who are you?" I asked.
"Call me Blue." She spoke as she blew a bubble.
"What do you want from me?" I asked.
She started walking back to the entrance to the roof and looked back at me,"Follow me."

Why should I follow her? I don't even know her. I sighed,"Why should I follow you?"
"So you're telling me that you would rather stay here with people who call you a monster than go with me?" She spoke.

Why does she have to be right...? I then quickly followed her,"Wait, I'm coming!"

After a while, we came to this land. It was a grassy area out of this huge city. I squinted my eyes as Blue suddenly walked through something and disappeared. I was so confused.

"Did she just walk through thin air?" I asked myself.

I glanced at the sign which said sold then walked through this invisible barrier and was suddenly in a brick building.

"Where am I?" I said as I walked a little further, my eyes looking up to see doors.

Suddenly I reached an edge that I didn't see and started to fall. I screamed as I fell only to get caught by this bubble. I looked down at the bubble then I looked up and saw Blue.

She was surrounded by a bubble,"You should watch where you step."

I looked around then back at Blue,"Where are we?"
"This is Omoshiroi Academy," Blue said as we both started ascending on the bubbles.
"We're moving? How come this bubble hasn't popped yet?" I asked curiously.
"This bubble is a special bubble," Blue said.

We suddenly stopped ascending and we both were above another platform. The bubble beneath popped and I plopped onto the floor. I stood up and rubbed my bum as I whispered a silent,"Ouch."

"This is the Headmaster's Office. She is waiting for you. I'll be outside if you need anything." Blue said.

I looked at her then at the door, I sighed a bit and walked inside.
