I'm not a native English speaker so there might be grammatical errors or weird word usage. Also, this is the my very first novel and was written with a Japanese Light Novel format in mind so the full length naturally exceeds the standard webnovel word count, but I'll try to keep each chapters short for your reading pleasure.

Juliette Richter
'Thrown away' daughter of the Richter clan who now works as a journalist for a living in Cathures. As a Defiled, she has her shares of everyday struggles doubled, but it doesn't stop her from overcoming the day. Her circumstances are bizarre, in which she has demonstrated abilities that doesn't match her regional Trait, such as forming autonomous creatures from hair strands. Even so, she inherited her family's powerful Trait, though a rarity on its own for casting mysterious blue flames.

Reed
Assassin of Rapture. He is ruthless when appropriate. His Trait revolves around manipulating shadows and making shadow clones of himself. He is somewhat clueless to lifestyle in modern society due to spending most of his life in a secluded environment.

Arden
One of Rapture Messengers. Always smiling, which can be very concerning. It doesn't seem like he has any concerns in life and faces his issues with a positive attitude, which can be very concerning. The known aspect of his Trait is that he's capable of manipulating "corpses" to a certain extent. Strangely obsessed with Juliette.

One of Rapture Messengers. The exact opposite of Arden, he almost never smiles. He always seemed to be shrouded under a thick air of mystery, preventing others from prying open details concerning his private life. He acted as a mentor figure of sorts to Reed.
Roland Richter
Juliette's uncle and Theresa Richter's little brother. Ever since Theresa's death, he had since became Juliette's legal guardian, but judging from the distance between them, their relationship didn't work out as he intended. Though they live in separate homes, he still watches over her despite Juliette's constant rejection.
TERMINOLOGY
Tellus
The name of the world for this story. Inhabitants are referred to as Tellusen. A Tellusen is not only limited to humanoid (in this case, referred to as "societal form"), but anything, so long as you live and die in Tellus. The biggest distinction between Tellusen and regular humans is that all Tellusen were born with the innate Trait to conjure abilities (Magic, etc), while humans could not. The world Tellus is divided into four regions, which are Sceadu, Naurta, Nostrum, and Eurus.
Defiled
A derogatory nickname for humans, due to their destructive nature. Bearing none of the average Tellusen trait, they are practically 'useless' by default.
Keeper
The one and only international law enforcement agency in Tellus, built for the purpose of maintaining stability and protect peace in Tellus. No one holds the highest power and authority of the organization, but in return, are evenly distributed to four Region Directors ("Directors").
Rapture
An infamous terrorist organization, ranked #1 in the Keeper's 'Red List'. Originally founded with the vision to restore Defiled's fallen grace, the organization has becoming more open in recruiting members, so long as they share a similar vision.
