The time was 9.30 am. Oh no!! I forgot to set my alarm clock. Amanda said out loud. Living in a one bed room apartment in Baltimore Maryland. She just got permoted at her job at Baltimore technology company. She had worked so hard for three long years. Ahh I can't believe I overslept. She said while rushing to get ready for work. Should I make breakfast? No I don't have time. How would I explain to my boss Mr. Parker. Amanda (thinking). She wanted to get a new apartment closer to work. She current resident was ten mile away. I want to save up money to buy a house in the country Amanda said. Amanda went down stairs and ran to the bus station. She waited by the bus station for the bus. Hey Anna (Amanda nickname) said Kara her bestfriend. What are you doing so late for work? Said Kara . Kara had a little business selling custom shirts. Umm I overslept. Amanda said. Hahahaha it okay, you one of the best workers I know. Kara said. What's taking the bus so long? Amanda said to Kara. Oh, you forgot? You miss the first bus. Kara said. Oh my oh my. I should have just called a taxi. Amanda said while looking for her phone. I left phone at my apartment, can I borrow yours? Amanda said. Sure Kara said. Amanda get the phone and call a taxi. The taxi arrives 10 minutes later.  I'm late anyways, Amanda (thinking). Amanda arrives at her job. Running with all she have. She enter the office of Mr. Parker. You're late. Mr. Parker said in a disapproval tone. Sorry I'm late Amanda said while looking at the floor.
