The operation was a mess. Sure, they managed to bring Ichor to the lower floors, but more Ichor meant more Twisteds. Before the runs, the floor below the lobby had two Twisteds, three at max. Now, it has over six.
Dandy sighs, leaning back in his beanbag and putting an arm under his head for comfort. “Gods, what am I supposed to do?” he wonders aloud. Another morning, another day of thinking. He’s had his hands full with handling the toons, but the Twisteds on the lower floors are making the problem a huge headache.
Just then, another headache enters his office. “Hey, Dandy..?” Astro says as he comes into through the door, his signature blanket wrapped around him.
Dandy sighs. “Yes, Astro? Is there something you need to say?”
“Well…” Astro clears his throat nervously. “The Shrimpos are bullying Toodles again.”
“For the love of-!” Dandy sighs, once again. “Fifth time this week. Gods!” He stands and paces, back and forth across the room. “They keep causing problems. They keep making more headaches.” Dandy’s pupils turn red. “They keep making my job and my life SO! MUCH! HARDER!” Dandy realizes how worked up he’s getting and takes slow, deep breaths, pausing his pacing. “They keep causing problems for everyone, it’d be so much easier if I could just put them in a run and have some peace and-!” His eyes light up with an idea. The dead lightbulb he’s been meaning to replace flickers to life momentarily above his head.
Dandy heads to the intercom and presses the button to activate the mic. He clears his throat, and delivers the message he decided upon, his eyes shimmering with guilty joy: “Shrimpos, come to the lobby center for a run.”
