“Sorry, Cass, no hard feelings right?” Jace, the “newbie” in question, received his payout standing over me.
“Fuck you!” I managed to get out, as my head was held down by a large draugr.
“Well, maybe not.” He shrugged walking out of the abandoned building into the night.
I was left at the mercy of Amadeo’s underlings.
“Pick him up, Amelie, we have to get back.” A slender beautiful woman with long black hair and piercing gold eyes spoke.
The draugr, who I assumed to now be “Amelie,'' picked me up and I was surprised to not be able to move despite the lack of restraints. There was no use in pleading with them, vampires didn’t have much sympathy to begin with and I’m sure much less for vampire hunters. They opened the trunk of the car, throwing me inside. I bounced around in the trunk slamming against the sides with every erratic turn. The effects of whatever control they had over me faded as I began to gain feeling back into my limbs. Not that I could do anything now, I was completely unarmed going to a vampire den, being “escorted” by a vampire and a draugr.
The car rolled to a stop and I decided I would feign the paralysis of before. Neither of them acknowledged or engaged in conversing with me as they dragged me out of the car. Once inside, I took in the grandeur of the foyer. Braziers stood lit lining a long red ornate rug that ran up the impressive staircase. The place was eerily quiet with only the sounds of muffled footsteps against the carpet and the echo of crackling fires being heard. I waited for my moment, rag-dolled over the draugr’s shoulder as they made their way up the stairs. Just before we reached the top I grabbed a brazier, breaking it in half, holding the sharpened end.
“Amelie!” The vampiress shrieked, baring her fangs and hissing at me.
The draugr was strong but her movements were slow and easy to dodge. I ducked behind her skewering the vampiress to the ground.
“AHHH!”
I didn’t bother to look behind me as I ran down the stairs jumping halfway, rolling to lessen the impact. The door was just in reach as it went pitch black. Every brazier was extinguished and my eyes strained to adjust. I heard something fast whipping through the darkness around me, my heart pounded in my chest. Out of the darkness, as if he was glowing, he emerged:
“My apologies for not greeting you when you came in.”
In front of me was the Duke of Vampires even more impressive than his description. He was muscular and stood just a slight height above me, which was still enough to make me have to look up. Albino skin and hair made him glow even more against the dark setting. A scar covered half his face, the injury seemed to have hindered the use of his left eye. Stepping back I readied myself.
“You plan to fight? How brave?” A snake-like grin spread across his face as he stepped closer. “Unfortunately, I’m not interested in such barbaric things.”
His eye glowed as he reached a hand from underneath his cloak. I felt my body grow weaker the longer I stared into his eye.
Just give in…
I heard his voice in my head, before losing consciousness.
My eyes fluttered open and my head felt heavy, struggling to keep it upright. I heard the sound of water, feeling hands all over my body.
“Ah!” I suddenly jumped realizing where I was.
I stood up surrounded by women who were bathing me, one of them reaching in between my legs.
“Now hold on a secon-” I grabbed her arm and she hissed at me.
Resigning, I closed my eyes as she scrubbed my manhood, giggling with the other women at my embarrassment.
“That’s enough ladies.” Amadeo appeared from around the partition shooing them away like flies.
All of them bowed as they ran away giggling amongst themselves. I shielded my private areas with a washcloth as he sat looking down at me. He had discarded his cloak and other outer garments, dressed now very casually with his poet blouse untied exposing his clavicle.
“Not going to try and stab me with my own lighting fixtures.”
“Didn’t seem to work that well the first time and I have less defense than before so, no”
“How clever you are~” He rolled his sleeves kneeling down beside the tub I was in.
Picking up a washcloth he dabbed it in a basin and attempted to put it against my face. I caught his wrist:
“What are you doing?”
“I’m going to wash you since you chased away the handmaids.”
“Like hell you are.”
“You’re so much cuter without that dreadful beard.”
I touched my face, grabbing a hand mirror that was placed on a neatly stacked pile of towels.
“Even here as well.” He reached in between my legs as I was distracted by my appearance.
“Wha-”
“I’ve waited so long for you, cor meum.” His hands massaged my legs and my body started to get hot.
Teasing my nipples, tracing them with one finger and pinching them. Pulling me back towards him my legs were spread giving him the opportunity to grab at my member.
“Mmmn-Ah!” I gasped.
The water sloshed as he roughly worked my cock.
“You get more beautiful every time I see you.”
His breath in my ear sent a chill up my spine.
“I don’t understand.”
“You will soon enough.” With that, he bit down on my neck.
Red liquid filled the bath as I began to feel lightheaded. Amadeo pulled away and I grabbed my neck realizing I was the source of the liquid. I stood up stumbling out of the bath as I bled out. Amadeo walked in front of me:
“Perhaps this time we can stay together.” He cradled my head in his hands.
As I collapsed he caught me and I died in his arms.
