"Hello, I'm Kasui... I'm in high school, on my very first day! ...How embarrassing. Well, since tomorrow will be my first day, I really want to be able to make new friends, since lately I've been pretty alone in my room playing RPGs.. If everything goes well, I'll at least have someone to talk to.."
The day had just begun, with the sun bright and shining, spreading its light throughout the block. We can see an ordinary house among the others, where we can see more closely, inside a window of a small balcony... There she was, Kasui, the short girl with coal-black hair, she was lying on her bed, completely covered by her blankets..
"Mhmm.." Said the pile of blankets.
"What time is it..?"
The pile of blankets lifted itself, revealing itself to be Kasui herself, with her messy and disheveled hair, with her sleepy face and dark circles under her eyes... The girl scratched her closed left eye with her hand for a brief time.
"Bro.. I think I played too much last night.." she said in a monotonous tone, finding it quite difficult to open both of her eyes, stretching her body briefly, still sitting on her bed.
"..."
"A-AH!" She screamed when she noticed her clock on the other side of the wall, right above her tube television.. Not that this information is of great importance..
"I'M GOING TO BE LATE! RIGHT ON THE FIRST DAY!"
She got up from her bed with all her might, standing next to it... But... She...
"Ouch.. My head.. I got up too quickly.."
After a while, Kasui moved through her room, arriving at her door, opening it and heading towards her bathroom in the hallway. When opening the bathroom, she moved towards the sink, placing her hands on it, looking closely in the mirror.
"Ugh.. I'm all.. Ugly.."
It was noticeable that the girl's dark circles were getting worse every day, but instead of trying to fix it, the girl would grab her toothbrush that was in a cup on the sink, brushing her teeth quickly. When she finished, she was almost fully dressed as she arrived in the kitchen, going down the stairs and putting on her socks as she tried to move, doing little jumps towards the kitchen counter, accidentally slipping on the way and hitting her butt on the floor in the middle of the kitchen.
"Ow, ow..!"
"You're late." A voice echoed from the stairs the girl had just left.
He appeared to be a young man in a black sweater and long black pants, his hair was messy, with some ends raised, surprisingly.. It was also black.
"You're a mess, you know..?" The boy said, approaching the recently injured Kasui, moving his hand to one of the girl's socks, lifting it upwards, thus taking Kasui's hand, lifting her calmly and gently.
"I-I.. I-I didn't ask for your help!" The girl shouted at the boy.
"Wow, what a way to thank your brother, are you going to keep shouting or are you going to hurry up?" He responded in a monotonous tone, without showing any emotion on his little face.
"Damn it.."
The girl responded with concern in her voice, quickly taking an apple from the counter, taking a single bite, running quickly with it still in her mouth towards the door of the house, putting on her shoes that she had left near the door. She opened the door with the backpack on her back that she had taken from the wall, starting to run into the distance.
Coming out of the door just opened by Kasui, her older brother approached the same door, looking with an emotionless look, which was soon broken by a slight smile and a soft sigh. He closed the door when he entered the house again, muttering to himself.
"Good luck."
Arriving at the school gates, Kasui seemed almost out of breath, her head was spinning while her pupils had small lines spinning, one inside the other (as shown in the Icon), demonstrating her dizziness and her awkwardness.
"Huff.. Huff..! I'm here..! I'm here-"
She was pushed by other students who were running together in a large crowd of people. After the dust settled, Kasui was face down on the ground, with one of her legs up.
"Hey.. Are you okay?"
Kasui lifted her face off the ground as she looked at the voice above that had called her..
"God.. Is that you?" Kasui said, with extreme dizziness.
"Wha- What? No.. No.. My name is Sachiko Imayoshi!"
The voice responded, it was a girl... She was at least 1.75 meters or 5'9 tall! Her hair was blonde and beautiful, her eyes were golden and her eyelashes were yellow like the sun.. And her... Her..
"B-Busty!" Kasui said in her thoughts, seeming quite surprised by what she saw as she remained on the ground, quickly shaking her head from side to side, slowly getting up on her knees.
"Ah! No need...! Let me help you!"
Sachiko moved both of her hands under Kasui's arms, lifting her up without any effort, making the black-haired girl seem far off the ground.
"S-Shorty..." Sachiko said in her thoughts. Then later responding loudly in Kasui's direction, blushing briefly.
"Hey, let's go! You don't want to be late, do you?"
The girl calmly released Kasui to the ground, turning her back to her as she tilted her body to the side, looking with her head also to the side and her eyes in Kasui's direction.
"I hope we end up in the same classroom"
Sachiko said, giving a light and sweet smile as she went back to walking normally towards the school.. Kasui was now frozen in the same place, processing what just happened..
"Eh..? Eh..? Eh..? EH..? WHAAAAAT..!?" She screamed in her thoughts, totally dizzy and in her own little world again, her pupils spinning as we can once again see the beautiful sky full of beautiful clouds.
How would Kasui do on her first day of school? It will definitely be a disaster.
Kasui is a girl that definitely doesn't believe in herself. Being a high schooler and very introverted, she searches for the ultime answer of her life and purpose.
