Firstly before we get into this heckin story, I want to say thanks to some people that really helped me flesh out this character. Funnily enough, True SoulDust originally started out as just a throwaway character I was going to use for roleplay lol, but the deeper I got into his lore and design, the more invested I got and, well…here we are. He has taken over my damn life.

So thank you to two of my RP Mods in my Discord server, Val and Sharky, for helping me design him and figure out what kind of powers a Soul Sans who absorbed Frisk’s soul would even have. I think he turned out super hecking cool and I have just…lost my mind getting wrapped up in writing his story now. I’m glad people seem to like him as much as I do, so before we dive in - here’s a quick note to read

This story starts right after Chapter 2 - Change (Pt. 1) of Seventh Soul Dust, right at the end. This is where the timeline diverges into Seventh Soul: True Dust, so I recommend reading AT LEAST up to the end of Chapter 2 pt. 1 before starting this story if you want context on what’s going on. (Though I recommend MORE that you just…read all of it. Lol. There will be a lot of information you can gather from Seventh Soul Dust that will help you to understand things that happen in True Dust.)

I also, obviously, recommend reading the Seventh Soul comic, as this is where both the Dust novels originate from. Sorry for this being so convoluted and deep. I…well, I have no excuse. I have a problem LOL. Just…bear with me. I’ve really gotten into writing and I love writing some angst and it’s a nice break from drawing comic panels all the time.

For anyone worried, Seventh Soul is OF COURSE still my top priority. The Seventh Soul Dust novel will also probably be updated more often than this as it is a higher priority and I’d like to finish that one first before I fully deep-dive into this one (no promises tho I am unpredictable.) I just wanna write some angst sometimes, too >:( Let me have this >:((( Now, as a final note...

It probably goes without saying but I’ll say it anyway…Content warning. Lol. This story will have a lot of…violence, blood, cursing, and obviously…death. It’s a dust story. It’s gonna be…murdery. I still tried to keep it tame and tone it down so I don't have to mark this story as "mature", but just…be warned. Read at your own risk.
