Blurb
A melodramatic, spicier gay re-telling of 'The Proposal'.
•••
When William Taylor's boss proposes to him in a desperate act to avoid being deported, Will is not going to pass up this golden opportunity to bring the arrogant prick to his knees. A goal he succeeds in more ways than he intended.

After almost four years of working as Constantin Vulpe's assistant, William still hasn't gotten a handle on the hellfire urge to throttle his gorgeous bastard of a boss. But when Constantin's visa renewal is denied, he resolves to retain his executive position in the publishing company they worked for by forcing William to marry him.
Although appalled beyond belief, William recognizes his chance and wastes no time striking a deal with the devil: William would help Constantin convince the suspicious immigration agent of their sham relationship in exchange for a promotion.
There's just one problem though--William had plans to drive home for the weekend before this whole mess to attend his mother's 50th birthday party, so Constantin goes with him to Maine, where William has to pretend he's in love with an asshole in front of his family.
Amid the sparks flying from the friction between them, navigating tottering family dynamics, an ex lurking in the picture, and the looming risk of their illicit contract coming to light, it'll take nothing short of a miracle for the fake couple to make it through the weekend unscathed.

Disclaimer
The inspiration for this book is the movie The Proposal (2009), directed by Anne Fletcher and written by Peter Chiarelli, with the main stars being Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. The biggest unique twist is that the main characters of my story are both men. On that note, this book contains romantic and sexually intimate scenes between them. If this is not up your alley, I regretfully ask you to back out now.
I sincerely appreciate those who wish to continue with this story, I hope you enjoy reading (and check out the original movie if you haven't seen it yet).
