My name is page I’ve always been told ‘your father is a good man and everything you see him do...is for you.’ I never really understood that until my 16th birthday. That day, I saw my father’s true colors the man who I thought to be a hero became a demon. That night my father brought me to The Hill. The Hill was a graveyard, and had a long history for holding the graves of murder victims. Right before my dad took me out the car to walk up The hill he looked behind me, he opened his mouth to say something but instead, mumbled something along the lines ’boys have to grow up someday.’ I look up the hill to see my uncle holding a shovel waiting for us at the top of the hill. He was with somebody but I couldn’t tell who they were. As I walked up the hill I got a better look at the other person. They had a bloodied burlap sack and his hand were tied behind him with rope, the summer breeze tried to blow away the sack but somehow it stayed. My uncle faced the man with malicious intent in his eyes. I asked my dad what’s going on. He told me that I needed to learn what it means to be a real man. Once I reached my uncle he didn’t even look like the loving uncle I once knew. After a few seconds of look at the bloodied man my dad ripped the sack from his face to show a broken man. His face black and blue, as well a swollen beyond belief and his nose was dripping with blood. He had a uniform that had a name tag which was so blood-soaked it only said his last name:Page He said ‘I wive ny oney n moth pleeese et mi go’, I’ll never forget what the man said. My dad gave me a pistol and pointed to the man. He said “this is how you become a man pull the trigger, pull it, pull it, pull-” I closed my eyes and pull the trigger, once I opened them I only saw Mr.Page’s body limp and breathing, his breath heavy. My uncle started to dig a grave for the body. I dropped to my knees wondering who that man was then I look at the graves below us they all looked like the grave my uncle was digging. As I got up the demon asked it I could help him push the body in the hole made for him. That day I changed my name to Page. My name is Page Lukka.
