Volume 1: The Dragon King!, Chapter 1: Keira and the Dragon King
Deep in some vast mountains, there is a large green beautiful forest filled with wildlife and plants and is far over thousands of kilometers from the city. This is where the fantastic story begins…
A light brown skinned boy with a thin white and black dragon tail is riding on a tree slump down to his house. His hair is long and is white and black. His hair hangs in his face, covers his ears, and reaches almost to the end of his neck. His eyes are innocent and sharp looking, his eye color is golden, the iris looks like a dragon’s. The outfit the boy is wearing is a martial arts uniform. The sleeveless shirt and the baggy pants he is wearing is light blue. On his wrists are white wrists bands. On his feet are black martial arts, and on around his waist is a white belt tied in a knot. His height seems to stand at 5’0 and his body build is slim and skinny.
As the boy was rolling the slump down the path casually while holding a large saw in his hand, he looked at a little sloth with its mother hanging from a tree happily.
“Hi!” said the boy happily.
The baby sloth giggled playfully as the boy rolled his tree slump down the path to his small house.
The house is small enough to room for at least two people. The angle for the roof is square like and the roof is pointy. The color of it is yellow. The walls of the house are white and the double doors is black and the two knobs on it is golden colored.
As soon as the boy got to the house, he hopped off the circle shaped tree stump. He then got into a martial arts stance.
“Ok then…” he said as he got stretched his body then got back into is stance.
With a powerful yell, the boy lifted the stump and threw into the air. Then he jumped into the air and kicked the stump with such force, it broke into pieces. The boy lands on the ground then the wood stacks into a nice neat pile.
The boy swiping his hands together smiling, “Well that takes care of that!”
His stomach then growls. “Whoa!” said the boy. “I got it! Fish for lunch!”
He then runs off and jumps into the trees in search for a large lake.
Meanwhile on the outskirts of the mountain, a black motor bike with silver glittering wheels stopped on the path that leads into the green forest.
As the glass door opened, a black high heeled boot stepped out. As the next boot stepped out, the figure was a tall beautiful tan skinned girl with long silky blue green hair and blue eyes. Her outfit was that of an attractive biker. Her tight shiny spandex leggings which is black hugged her nice curves, she is wearing a white tank top and a black leather biker jacket over it. Her nails are painted blue green to match her hair and eyes. Her height seems to stand at 5’5. She takes out a round silver contraption with a blue screen and a button on top.
She said, “Ok so the emerald is in this forest somewhere…I’m getting close.”
She got back into her mini car like bike and drove off into the mountain area.
As the boy is jumping in the trees, he spotted a cliff and stopped at it.
“Whoa!” he exclaimed with a huge grin on his face. “I bet there’s some fish in that river down there!”
The boy jumps off the cliff and makes his way down to the long river below by using small ledges and tree branches.
As soon as he makes his way down, he jumps into the river, getting himself wet in the process. He then resurfaces.
The boy spitting out the water from his mouth, “Now this is what I call unpleasantly cold!”
His uniform is hung on a tree branch for it to be dry as he stuck his tail into the water for the fish to think of it as food.
“C’mon you little rascals!” said the boy who had a grin on his face.
A large giant fish under water jumps out, and the boy jumps at it with a powerful yell and kicks it in the head killing it quite casually. He then jumps into the water and grabs it.
“Now this is what I call lunch!” said the boy as some bubbles escaped his mouth while underwater.
He drags the fish out of the water and puts back on his martial arts uniform and drags the fish back to his house.
As he was closing in on his home after five minutes of carrying a large fish, he heard a noise coming in his direction.
The boy with a confused look on his face, “Huh? What’s that?”
The car like motorbike from before surprised the boy as the beautiful girl and he yelled in complete shock. The girl tried to swerve around him, but the boy jumped over her car like bike, throws the fish directly towards the vehicle causing it to collide with bike, and the bike smashes against a nearby tree.
The window in the bike opened as the girl climbed out with a confused and dizzy look on her face.
“What in the hell was that!?” She wondered in thought.
She turned her head to see the boy walking to her with and angry look on his face.
“Hey! Just what the hell is your problem ya big dummy!” yelled the boy as he walked closer.
The girl shrieked in complete fear as she took out an Uzi gun and pointed it at him.
“Stay back or I’ll shoot!” she screamed.
The boy did not listen as he continued walking forward. The girl then opened fire and bullets started flying towards the boy.
The boy stops as he sees the bullets flying at him. In an instant, much to the look of disbelief and shock on the girl’s face, the boy caught all the bullets effortlessly with both of his hands.
“W-what?! No human being can do something like that! Impossible!” exclaimed the girl in shock.
The boy took out his light blue pole stick with a serious angry look on his face.
“Now perish you demon! YAAAAA!!!!” yelled the boy who sprinted at the frightened girl.
The girl replied with her hands raised in surrender, “Hold on kid, I’m not a demon, I’m a human being just like you!”
The boy stopped dead in his tracks and looked at the girl with a curious face.
“A human?” he asked out of curiosity.
“Yes” the girl said slightly annoyed.
The boy took a good look at the female standing before him.
“Not to be rude, but you’re a girl, aren’t you?” asked the boy.
The girl just stared at the boy with a perplexed look on her face.
“You never seen a girl before?” she asked politely
“Besides my aunt, you’re the second human female I ever seen.” Answered the boy with an innocent look on his face.
“Where is your aunt?” asked the girl.
“She…passed away...” said the boy who looked down at the ground.
“That’s sad. May she rest in peace.” Said the girl with a sad face. Her face then had a serious look. “You know for a kid, you’re really strong.”
The boy laughed cheerfully, “Oh my aunt trained me to be as hard as steel!”
“Still I can’t believe you can catch bullets.” said the girl.
The boy then chose be polite as he was taught to be.
“Hey want to have lunch with me?” he asked.
“Ok. Lead the way.” She replied with a kind smile.
The boy picked up the fish and the two walked towards the house that was a few feet away from them.
“Oh, I’m being rude. My name is Keira Sanders.” Said the girl. “What’s your name?” she asked.
“My name is Shimigatsu Noah. You have a nice name.” replied the boy with a smile on his lips.
“As, do you too.” Replied Keira.
Noah and Keira arrived at the front doors of the small house. Noah opens the two black wooden doors and inside is a small room with a bed with a white curtain around it, a book shelf, a closet, and rectangular stand with a light blue shiny emerald and a photo of a middle-aged woman who appeared to be in her late 20’s to early 30’s.
“Is that her?” Keira asked pointing at the picture.
Noah remaining optimistic but looking down, “Yeah….”
In the picture is a smiling woman with long curly violet black hair and onyx colored eyes.
Keira looked around the room for a bit until she finally noticed the emerald on the stand by the photo of Noah’s deceased Aunt.
Keira running towards the emerald and grabbing it, “This is the emerald I was looking for!”
“Um….my aunt gave that to me as a present.” Said Noah whose hands were on his hips frowning slightly.
“Noah... this here is a Shouzen Emerald.” Said Keira who was smiling.
“Shouzen emerald?” asked a confused Noah.
Keira continued. “It said that of you collect seven of these, a deity is supposed to come out and ask you what you seek the most in your life.
“So…it’s a wishing deity?” asked Noah who was catching on quite fast.
“Something like that.” Said Keira. Then she had an idea. “Hey…. Why don’t you tag along with me? You seem to know quite a bit about the world. And with your strength, we should be able to gather the seven emeralds.”
Noah grinned cheerfully, “Alright then! Let me just grab a few things!”
Keira walked outside and took out a box and opened it. Inside it are buttons for a specific object she’ll need or use.
She takes out one that’s said the number “8” and presses the button on it and throws it.
The button that puffs into smoke and it turns into a motor car bike. Keira then gets on it.
Noah soon walks out of his house with a bag on his back and hops onto the bike behind Keira.
Keira with a smile, “So what did you bring?”
“Oh, just some books, a sketch book with paper and a pencil, the picture of my aunt, the emerald, and one outfit.” Said Noah.
Keira raised an eyebrow. “So, you’re a fighter and you have an artistic side?”
Noah with a grin, “Pretty much.”
“Well let’s get this trip started!!” Cheered Keira.
She starts the bike and the duo starts their quest for the 7 divine Shouzen Emeralds.
