BANG!

A Gunshot echoed through the streets of York.

“Why me?”, the fox haired girl thought, as the bullet kept coming nearer and nearer. Her thoughts racing faster than the speed of light.

“Why does have to be me?”

“What did i ever do to deserve this?”

“I heard people see their life, flashing before their eyes before it ends, but there is… nothing.”

Emptiness.

“Well i guess that is it.”

“No one comes to save you in real life. No Shining Knight. No Prince rushing to safe the fair maiden in distress. All of that is just fiction. Pretty ideas people fill their heads with. In the real world, people die. And no one is there to help them.”

While time seemed to have stopped and the girl was thinking this, she felt a deep feeling of loneliness. All the things that she still wanted to have done. All the memories that she couldn’t make anymore. All of it… gone. Robbed. By a person she didn’t even know. Killed just for the sake of it.

“Well, i guess that is it for me.”

“Goodbye you cruel world.”

“I guess i have no more time left.”

As this thought shot through her mind, time seemed to accelerate again.

She felt the bullet hit her chest and then… darkness came and wrapped around her mind as she fell.
