June Rose prepares for the biggest moment of her life, it could potentially be the very last thing she ever does. Her and her Defence Attorney, Victoria, prepare their case. In the small town of Ravenhelm, a one of a kind trial is about to begin. June Rose is charged with tampering with dark magic and causing the massive portal that has appeared above the small town.

June has not given her attorney much information up until now, refusing to let anyone know what she actually did, and what happened on one specific night 3 weeks ago. Her attorney informs her that this will not end well unless she is completely honest. However, June refuses to talk very much, and each and every visit with her attorney ends quickly, with June walking away, refusing to talk. The reality of what she did has not completely set in yet, and she is still trying to cope with what she did. She has been fascinated by magic and things she never fully understood, but that one night 3 weeks ago changed everything.

The rumbling of the ground, the sudden black and ominous clouds that appeared above Ravenhelm, and the feeling of the massive burst of pure energy that coursed through her body.

Now June Rose prepares to face the effects of what she caused, in a never before seen trial, she is charged with a list of charges that have never been used in a trial before, and Ravenhelm has not had many trials like this. The Prosecutor wants to make an example of June, and make sure she is never allowed to leave prison and endanger the small town again. Her defence wants to show her as somebody who made a mistake, and did not intend to create such a mess.

One month before her trial is about to begin, June is visited by a Doctor, Oxford King, whose specialty is dimenional anomalies.
