A darkness yet again surrounds Alex. The wet metal floods against his feet, his synapses shot from the previous transformation. Yes, he remembers. This... gemstone. It's familiar but there are no memories available to describe its existence in his mind. The entity he met with, the lizard-like alien deity. Aeo, he called himself. There's something not quite right about him. Even he can't remember who he is. 

Alexander dissipates the vision of the stone within his hand. It dissolves into blue liquid, kind of the same as his blood. He pokes one drop in the air and it, too, disappears in a waft of smoke along with the stone's representation. An image. Nothing more than a facade. Looking around he sees the ground in which Aeo went back to sleep. No etchings of a capsule existing within, just concrete ground made of marble. Blackened marble with liquids seeping upward and bobbing back into itself.

He sits, awaiting his energy to come back, to awaken yet again. This time, he has no dreams. He has nothing to do. A flicker of thought is provoked as he sits there silently. A memory. It's been a good while, but he's seen this realm, this planet he was 'born', just enough to make some presumptions on what actions to take. This world he was shown, it was now ripe to acknowledge within his own personal encyclopedia, his mind. This filled him to the brim with excitement and interest. He smiled for a time but remembered his 'mission'. What was pulsing in his chest, what was constantly vibrating within his head, it was something with a lure. He was being pushed toward space. Taellis is waiting. He cannot lose anymore time than he already has. 

As he sits there, thinking about his plans, he realizes his energy has never depleted. It was a mere retraction of authority over his body. He's... a soul right now. He gets up and focuses, staring into his sanctum's void. His ethereal body starts to feel light and so the room slowly glows with a vivid cyan. As his ghost opens its eyes, his body awakens.

Alex opens his eyes, his vessel laying face down in the crystal. He can see his own reflection beyond the haze of indigo. It glistens smoothly in the light of his iris. A double image betrays his vision, however. A menacing being with the same color eyes as the crystal stares back at him with a fiendish glow but dissipates within a mere second of him jumping up. "What was..." he says to himself. Something didn't feel correct there. His spine shivers as his eye glows a subtle indigo itself. His vision on his left eye seems to have stuttered but draws back to correct itself. "That... isn't a glitch too... is it?"

He gets up easily, holding the cave wall just for leverage. Starts walking toward the entrance as he hears some whispering wind. He feels as though he could hear words... ones that are insufferable among ones that are rather pleasant. Two different voices... The other noxious one goes away while the nice one stays a while. He finally passes the door frame, all the blocks retracting in puzzling fashion. As he does, his new family looks over to him, many are hesitant. Seff stares at Alex's eyes for a while and smiles, running at him and hugging him. "You're ok! Achiin was right you'll be fine!" Alex raises an eyebrow and looks over to Akhmin and the others. "A..Achiin?" The little feathered child walks up to him as Akhmin stays with Riddik and Nadha. Elkhra curls his lips in bother of Seff's vice grip on Alex's torso as he tries to hide his jealousy. Achiin looks up at Alex after he rubs his right eye. As his arm falls softly and he yawns, a blue circular iris forms from his lid. "Yeah I told you." Alex looks at it and his arm. It's completely lined with glowing fissures of cyan, just like his blood...

Alex gets down to his level and looks at his arm. He sees just the glow and the eye. He can see everything else is completely organic like them. "Oh wow... that's..." he moves Achiin's forearm around a bit and starts thinking, but only one thought comes to mind. "Bones..." he says. Achiin looks at him with a very dumbfounded face. "What......?" 

Alex shakes his head and looks at Achiin's eye. "Wait is that..." He remembers the time the scorpion attached to him. He feels the back of his left side. That time he was being repaired he remembers Achiin getting zapped... He gasps and his eyes gain a bit of shock. "I am so sorry... I... I hurt you..." Achiin shakes his head, "For what?" he smiles a bit and hops on his feet sort of, demonstrating his balance. "I can see the future!" Alex's worry turns straight into a look of surprise. "That's... is that even possible?" Alex's mind started to meld with proper information of the past but something was missing from it. He could think of things from rock to meat and bone, houses to plants and everything in between and beyond. The basics are figured out. What was missing was... a figure. Someone he used to know. Actually it was two... but one was only blurred or almost completely erased. All he could think of was... the color fuschia.

Achiin looks at Akhmin as he walks up to them all. He looks down at his son and then Alex. "I think it's time for us to rest. We have a long way ahead of us don't we..." He looks down and thinks about what they need to go through to get to the town. "Alex..." Alexander looks up to Akhmin, meeting his sight. "Be prepared to see dead chiro." Alex's face stays static. He feels somewhat deprived of glee, a flush of suspense. What does he mean by that? He heard everything he said when he was asleep back at the cafe... the way all the chiro were created by Taellis, the owl, his supposed 'master'. Did she... did she kill them?...

Akhmin walks back to the camper wagon waving Alex and the others to join. He tells Riddik to get ready and pats his shoulder, giving a farewell to Nadha and his pack. Alex sits on the edge of the wagon contemplating this 'mission'. Contemplating his future. Was he destined to die? Zyphon scurried up to him, sitting next to him. As he flinches from the sight of it, the bug bot reacts to his thoughts. It speaks, "No. You are unkillable, as the sphere of eden suggests is rule." Alex looks at the arachnid robot. "What... do you mean? What is this 'Sphere of Eden?' " Zyphon turns its chassis to look at Alex, twisting its little crabby legs to do so. "Energy." Alex stares at Zyphon. "You know so much... but... I don't... and you won't even tell me. Nobody will. How am I supposed to know how to get up there? How will I use the obelisk?" Zyphon shakes its tail and sits its underbelly down, folding its claws inward compactly. "I will help you." Alex is surprised it even wants to speak at this point. It's making fluent speech toward him rather than robotic query. Is it... learning? Or was it just loading as we traveled...? Either way... The robot speaks up before Alex goes in. "May you please lift me into the carriage." Alex stops and looks down at it. He picks it up and takes it in. Right before entering, the Scorpion says, "Thank you kindly... Alex." Alex looks at it, puzzled but undisturbed, closing the door behind him.
