I never really took the homework seriously. Every time the teacher would take out a book or assignment, I would just doodle my thoughts away. Nothing mattered in my world of drawings. All I cared about was how they turned out.
Of course, I got terrible grades.
I had to go to summer school 3 times. It never helped. I would always find a way to doodle. I would just ask for a spare paper for notes. My teachers soon found out, so they put me in the heat. In Arizona, that was a seriously bad idea. But who cared? I was just a 6th grader wanting to draw my thoughts away to stop the sorrows of my dad. Did that make me a weird kid? I didn't think so. I had my characters to talk to. And at the age of 11, you might think it's weird to talk to cartoon characters. But I didn't have any friends in school, so I get a pass.
I knew I wasn't like other people in 6th grade, so I didn't pay any attention to clubs, after school programs, or being with any people unless I had to. I usually skipped class. My classmates caught me, as well as my teachers. I was sent to the dean several times. It was like a time loop.
Good thing I moved to a new school.
