A/n = author notes

(A/n: This takes place after episode 1 for gravity falls and after episode 1b for star vs foe both in season 1)

It had been two days since the twins, Dipper and Mabel had found the journal and fought off a group of gnomes. Right now, dipper was reading the journal to find out more about gravity falls. And Mabel was well….being Mabel. Everything seemed to return to normal or as normal as it can get.

“Dipper?”

Dipper looks up from the journal to look at his twin who was bouncing on the bed even though it was against their Grunkle’s rules. “Yes?”

“I think we need to go out more”

“Why is that?”

“So we can explore more make friends, and even meet fairies or something!” She replies back hopping off her bed landing on the rug in the middle of the room.

“Okay sure why not” Dipper says. He sits up and slides his pine tree hat he got the other day on. He takes one last look at the journal before putting it under his pillow.

Mabel goes into her drawer to take out some money and her sky blue sweater that had three white small clouds with a yellow shiny sun on it. It was Mabel’s favorite sweater since she had made it yesterday. She slides her sweater on

“Grunkle ford! We’re going out!” Mabel shouts when they get downstairs. 

“Okay but make sure you guys hang up the posters in the town center first” Their Grunkle shouts back. Dipper frowns slightly knowing that he’d be hanging most of them up. They grab as many posters that they could carry out side.

Mabel happily skips along while dipper walks slowly glancing behind him to make sure they weren’t being followed by a few nobodies in particular…..

He didn’t exactly feel comfortable leaving the journal there, knowing something or someone could easily find and take it. 

Meanwhile…

Somewhere else two teens, Marco and Star both are seemingly bored. Today seemed very, very boring. Nothing much had happened since they had party all night long with pony head.

Star was still a bit sad that her BFF was sent to the dreaded St. Olga’s Reform School for Wayward Princesses. But at least she had gotten one last night to spend with her. It was the best night.

“Man…” Marco says laying down on his side on the couch. “I’m so bored…”

“I am too….” Star says laying face first into the carpet. The Laser puppies’ whine from the back of the house.

“Hm…? She turns over and sits up.

“I think they want out.” Marco says siting up on the couch. Star stand up and takes out the dimension scissors. As Marco goes to get the puppies Star cuts into thin air opening up a portal.

Marco returns with the puppies on leashes handing half of them to star. They walk into the portal transferring them into a clearing filled with tall Pine trees and Light green grass which bend when the wind blew gently.

“Whoa! This is something new.”

Star says shattering the silence.

“You can say that again.” Marco says. The puppies bark happily.

“Okay! Whoa! This is something new!” Star says with enthusiasm.

“…I didn’t mean that literally, star”

“…..Ohhhh….” she quickly makes a mental note to remember that while Marco stops a laser puppy from shooting at his shoes.

“Hey since we never been to this dimension want to check it out?” Marco asks.

“Sure why not!” Star says cheerfully. “The author won’t allow us to just leave and go home. We have a story to continue!”

“Yea...- Wait wha-“

Suddenly everything goes black…

(A/n: sorry can’t have you break the fourth wall…yet)

(Take two)

“Hey since we never been to this dimension want to check it out?” Marco asks.

“Sure why not!” Star says cheerfully. “It’s not like we have anything better to do!

(A/n: this is all part of my evil pan…XD jk or am i?)

“Okay 99 posters done only just 11 left- Mabel please, stop flirting with every boy you see.”

Dipper says not bothering to turn around to see his sister about to talk to the boy sitting on the bench near them.

“Sorry I can’t help it!” Mabel says laughing a little. She hangs up a poster on bench she was sitting on.

So far they had hanged up 99 100 posters; dipper 75 and Mabel 25. It took them 20 mins so far. Right now they were taking a short break.

“Want some jerky?”

“What kind is it?”

“Smoked beef with-“Before Mabel could finish her statement the jerky was knocked out of her hand by a sand colored puppy quickly followed by others like it. They eat the jerk that fell out of the bag on Mabel’s lap.

“What the…”

“Skyjack!” a worried voice calls out. The two twins turn to see two teens rushing towards the puppies.

“Oh I am so, so, so sorry!” the girl says. She was wearing a light green dress, purple and pink stocking with purple boots and a red devil horns headband in her long golden hair. She scoops up the nearest puppy. “Bad puppies, quit eating her food!”

“No, it’s okay! Let them have it.” Mabel says quickly. She smiles “I have a spare pack!”

“Are you sure?” The boy next the girl says with dipper in perfect unison. Dipper looks at the boy who was grabbing the leash of some of the puppies. The boy had brown hair darker than theirs and was wearing a red hoodie, black pants, and brown converse.

“Yup!” Mabel holds out her hand. “I’m Mabel pines by the way. And this is my twin brother Dipper.”

“Hey.” Dipper says not knowing what to really say at all.

(A/n: real smooth dipper…. Real smooth)

“Cool your twins? Nice to meet you!” Star says taking her hand shaking it a little too fast. “I am Star Butterfly! And these are my laser puppies!”

“Laser….Wha?” dipper asks making sure he heard that right.

“Cool!!!” his twin says reaching down to pet one which shoots lasers at the bench’s leg.

“At hem. Star”

“Oh and this is Marco!”

(A/n: she nearly forgot about him lol!)

“Um… one of you laser puppies just burnt down a tree.” Dipper says point where the tree used to be was a pile of burning ashes.

“Oh…you should probably fix that.” Marco says staring at the ashes.

“Oh…yea...” Star says she takes out her wand and waves it around. “Um…backwards enlarged fading flame!”

The wand glows and the twins watch as the small flame quickly turn big.

“Did not mean to do that….let me think…” Star says thinking. “Aha! Reverse glitter sparkle!”

Instantly the tree reappears.

“Whoa! How did you do that?!” Mabel asks amazed. Her twin on the other hand was shocked. He had a million questions to ask them….

….starting with the laser puppies.

“Well it’s time for us to go back to our dimension.” Marco says looking at the watch. They had just came from one of the twins’ Grunkles mystery shack tours. Marco and star was allowed to visit the twins whenever they felt like it. (A/n: mostly because the laser puppies was bringing in more costumers…*at hem* Stanley) The twins said that they would visit their dimension from time to time.

So that was good news.

“We’ll see you guys later!” Mabel says waving from the porch.

“Bye!”

Star opened up their home dimension’s portal and entered it.

And then all was silent…
