On a starlit night, Emerald, a young orphan girl, is awoken by an intense light outside her window and a loud crash from the garden shed. She rushes out, clutching a tennis racket for self defence.
Emerald thinks that the houseparents from the orphanage are there to fetch her at last, but who she finds, or more accurately what she finds, in the garden if far from a houseparent...
Suddenly, a strange creature with star antennas, messy hair, a night gown and golden, striped stockings has crash landed in her shed!
Emerald is literally Star Struck by this oddball. Where did he come from? How did he end up here, in her garden?! And most importantly: Can she help him return home?
