The sniper had been crouching on the roof all morning waiting for his target to show in the busy street below. He shifts his weight, trying to keep his legs awake. In the street below a young woman slips under the pavilion directly underneath the sniper's position on the roof.
With quick pale fingers, she pulls down her ebony black hair. She glances around to make sure nobody was paying her any mind and vanished.
Upon the roof, the sniper spots his target. The target is a young woman: russet hair, sever green eyes and built like a pro boxer. She is grinning and talking to someone on a digicam.
The sniper brings the scope to his eye and starts to line up his shot. Behind him the woman from under the pavilion appears but, but she is transparent, her loose blouse and long skirt move like her body is underwater. She looks at his target and sighs, but she didn't make a sound.
The sniper goes to pull the trigger when his target looks directly at him and grins, in the next second he's electrocuted.
The black-haired woman has become solid and is holding a charged taser, but that wasn't what electrocuted the sniper. He starts to twitch and tries to get up to face his unexpected opponent.
A large boot lands on his chest. The lager man kneels down keeping his boot firmly planted on the sniper's chest. The man grins his teeth flashing against his dark face. "Did you honestly think that she would be by herself?"
The larger man is wearing blue jeans and a black tank top fitted to his chest. He scowl's at the sniper, who sneers at him and tries to shove is his boot. His bare arms crackle with sparks of electricity. The woman sighs again, this time audible, drawing the sniper's attention to her.
She squats next to the sniper's head, tucking her skirt under her legs. She crosses her arms over her knees, her hands in his face, her fingers flicker in and out of existence. The blood drains out of the sniper's face, but she ignores him and speakers to her partner.
"Bay we can't stay here much longer. Atlanta has gathered and bought the supplies we need. That blast destroyed anything electronic on him." She turns her attention to the sniper.
"Let's pick up the trash and see what we can get from him at home. If we get nothing," she grins a cold smile to the sniper, but her eyes look empty making the sniper shiver. "He might make a good ghost. He is pale enough."
