Colby had woken up early that morning. He turned over in his bed and grabbed his phone off a night stand. The phone’s brightness burned Colby’s eyes as the boy groaned. The time one his phone showed that he had woken up an hour before his alarm for school went off. He threw his phone on the bed and contemplated getting up. He stayed under his blankets before deciding to get up. He threw the blankets off of himself and headed to the bathroom.

After his shower the boy went back to his room in only a towel. Going straight to his closet and picking out a my chemical romance shirt and a dark purple flannel. He picked out a pair of ripped jeans along with some balck socks and black converse high tops. He put on the clothes he picked out and checked himself out in his mirror. He nodded to his reflection liking what he picked out.

His phone alarm went off and he shut it off. He opened his instagram and the groupchat he and sam had made for their friend group was going absolutely crazy.

It made sense really, they were just a bunch of insomniac teens. The group chat only stopped when Sam decided to text who was going to the homecoming dance, of course he would ask. He decided to respond.

Babyboy: I’ll go if i’m free

He had sent that to the group chat and everyone else started to respond.

Dvyn: Hell yeah.

Xyph: Course!

Ratboy:Only if cassie goes

CassieMartin:Of course we’re going reggie

Ratboy: Damn

The groupchat went silent after that and Colby stifled a laugh. He decided that since school didn’t stark for another 40 minutes he’d walk to school. It was only a 20 minutes walk so he was confident he’d make it on time. He still decided to send a text to the group chat just in case.

BabyBoy: Walking to school anyone wanna join

Colby shut his phone off knowing that he’d have two of his best friends walk with him. His heart fluttered a little at the thought of Sam and the boy decided to get some breakfast before school.

I heard a honk come from outside and I smiled jumping up from where I was on the couch and swung the front door open. I locked it behind me. I saw Sam and Jake get out from the car as I started walking over to them. “You guys ready?”

“Yup,” Jake said, popping the P.

Sam smiled at me and nodded “Let's get going!”
