"Alright. Get on." The bus driver said to Arya. She nodded and stepped onto the bus. Everyone stared at her. Arya walked to the very back of the bus, where no one else was. "Is that the girl?" She heard a girl ask her friend "yeah, she's the new girl. I hope that Ruth teaches her that she isn't special just because she is new." Her friend replied "great. It hasn't even been the end of the school day and people already despise me." She sighed. Arya leaned against the window, she watched as everything zoomed past her.

"Only one more stop until we reach Spring Gardens!" The bus driver announced. Arya looked forward, she saw a few girls look back at her. "Do you guys need something from me?" She asked, all the girls went back to staring in front of them. Arya was mumbling to herself when the bus stopped, Arya assumed that it was the last stop before they arrived at Spring Gardens. A few girls entered the bus. One sat next to Arya "hello." She greeted. Arya waved at her, she was surprised that someone would actually talk to her. "I'm Cynthia. You?" She asked "Arya. I'm Arya." Arya responded. The bus started moving again, so did Cynthia and Arya's mouths. They kept talking until a girl screamed "huh?" Cynthia leaned to her right so that she can see down the 'hall'. A few more girls screamed as the bus gone faster. Arya and Cynthia ran up to the front window. There, they saw a woman walking down the road. Arya quickly grabbed the steering wheel and swerved the bus, it missed the woman and crashed into a nearby pond. Arya grabbed Cynthia's hand and swam to the bus door, she opened the door and escaped the bus. She swam to shore.

Most of the other girls escaped but the bus driver and a few others didn't have enough time to escape.
