Once upon a time there was a little bird in a beautiful cage. Everyday, the bird waited anxiously a ray of sun that used to enter trough the cage.
The little one was so happy, that she begun singing, she was heard across the sky all way to heaven.
Everyday that passed, the birdie stand by for the ray of sun, but the cage was being decorated with big ornaments that blocked the sun's light.
The sun was there every morning but the bird couldn't see the ray of sun anymore. So, she stopped singing.
She started to feel sad, but the cage was still being modified inside out. The belief for all the changes were that if the cage was being taken care of, so the bird.
But that was not the case.
The little bird got depressed and in darkness, she went lost.
The bird forgot who she was and lived without rest in her own confusion. The sun was always there but the little one couldn't see the light.
Then one day the cage fell to the floor because of those heavy decorations and broke.
Finally! She was able to see the light!
Just in the light the bird could feel relief, a slight sadness of being free and feel the ray's of the sun was enough to impulse her to open her wings and fly.
Only in the presence of the sun's warmth she became SAVED.
Now, in the comfort of the light provided by the sun, she flew away across the sky singing uniterrupted to every corner on earth. Full of life and gratitud for the sun.
Now was the bird who was beautiful and not the cage.
And at the end of her encounter of salvation, from that delightful sunlight, she discoverd that her destiny was heaven.
There was not cage anymore.
“Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit”. (Psalms 51:12).
