Tabby yawns and stretches looking at the clock. “It's only noon but I'm so tired.” She continues rolling out cookie dough to be cut. 'Today is going by so slowly.'

“Well you are part cat, Tabby.” AJ pets Tabby's head making her purr slightly.

AJ is Tabby's best friend and one of the best workers at The Bakery. He's a witch like Tabby but he doesn't try to hide his dark side. He's always dressed in black and hates removing his piercings. He doesn't even cover his tattoos but since his family owns The Bakery it doesn't really seem to matter. He's scary to people who aren't regulars and who don't know him well. Tabby once saw him make a kid cry just by trying to give them a balloon. He's one of the sweetest guys but his attitude and possessiveness are a known problem from time to time. Tabby still can't get a boyfriend because AJ's standards for her are to high.

“Yea but no one is suppose to know that. I think my magic is pretty good since I can hide my ears and tail all day.” Tabby walks over to the oven and peeks in. “I mean your magic is pure so you're even better but I think for only having some magic I do a pretty good job.”

AJ sighs and throws more sugar into the giant mixer as it worked. “Your magic is probably better than mine. You just don't want to take the time to try and hone it better.”

Tabby sticks her tongue out at AJ “I don't need magic except for hiding, so I'm good.”

A hand appears next to Tabby's head. She turns around to AJ pinning her against the oven. “Tabby we need to have a talk.”

AJ's eyes are serious and he is so close. Tabby looks him straight in the eyes.“You're not my type sorry.”

“Oh Hun you aint man enough for me.” AJ stares for a minute then he and Tabby bust out into laughter.

Tabby pushes his chest wiping a tear of laughter from her face. “Okay so what's the deal.”

AJ catches his breath and sits on a stool near the counter as Tabby goes back to work. “Okay so we have a big catering event coming up but there's one problem.” AJ spins on the stool.

“What's the problem and how does it involve me?” Tabby snickers watching AJ spin “You are such a child.”

“Yes, yes I am.”AJ smiles and stops. “Well our main cook broke his arm and can't work it. And well, seeing as how you are an amazing cook, Mom was wondering if you'd be willing to do the cooking and catering for it?” AJ looks at Tabby with big puppy dog eyes.

“I dunno” Tabby looks away his puppy dog eyes to much to handle.

“Miss Tabby you're the most amazing cook and we would be so honored if you would do it. It's out biggest client yet. Pleaseeee...” AJ gets close his puppy dog eyes on full beg mode.

Tabby sighs defeated. “Very well I love to cook so I guess I'll help you out.”

“Yay!” AJ jumps with excitement and hugs Tabby. “You're the best Tabs! Mom will be so relieved.”

“I know I am.” Tabby smiles “Now get back to work we don't have all day.”

“Yes boss!” AJ salutes and goes back to work.

'I've got a bad feeling about this, but AJ has helped me so much. It's the least I can do.' Tabby looks at the clock once more wishing time would go a bit faster.
