Hello to the readers that stumble onto this page, both new and old. This is a story that I have stuck in my head and will be writing offline until I have most of it written before I plan to post. This story will spend a little time in the fantasy world of Alteria and unfold the history leading up to when Katiya ends up in the present. This is very much an Isekai novel but I'm hoping to add in my own unique twists and elements to make the story interesting.

The Kingdom of Alteria was not always a place that instilled fear into the shamans inhabiting its lands. Animosity and contempt weren't always engraved in the hearts of its citizens. It used to be the epitome of a happy and prosperous place. The balances shift due to one shaman woman and her ill-fated choice that marks the future of all of her kind.

Shamans are now shunned and forced into a life of servitude within the kingdom. Katiya vel-Rossa lives with her mother in the farming village of Heria. It is there that the queen and crown prince, River Waylyn Arindale come to their town. Katiya and River keep having encounters upon his arrival and soon they are fated to fall in love. Years pass in the village enjoying a romance with the prince until a decree calls him back to Sailyn. It is there that a string of events begins to surpass ending in a surprising betrayal for Katiya and endangering her life. In a last attempt to save herself, she casts a spell that sees her transported to another body in the modern century.
