"No please! Don't!" three boys held me back as their leader held up my little white and brown puppy by the tail. The puppy whimpered when Blaze swung him back and forth while he laughed. I tried my best to break free so I could save him but compared to the other guys I was just too small and also weak.
"Blaze! Stop it!" I shouted. His friends gasps when I called him by his first name and Blaze glared at me. No one ever said his name, they weren't supposed to, not even the teachers. "I..I'm sorry I didn't...." before I even got the chance to apologize he had already snapped my puppy's neck.
Time seemed to have stopped and my blood ran cold as I numbly watched Ginger fall to the ground with his head in an awkard angle. I didn't realize the others let me go until I fell to the ground and I was even too shock to cry. "No one says my name, you got it?" I didn't respond becuase I was still staring at Ginger.
"YOU GOT IT!" I nodded before I started to cry. The reality of what just happened dawning on me. "Now, lets go guys" they left me all alone with a dead puppy....my dead puppy. "I'm so sorry Ginger..." I struggled to breath as I bawl, "I'm so sorry if only I wasn't s..s..so weak I could have saved you. I'm so sorry." With a heavy heart I carried him home and buried him in my backyard. I placed a small stone on his grave to mark the spot. "I promise Gingy I'll get strong I swear and when I do something like this will never happen again. You'll always be my best friend no matter what. I love you, have a safe journey to heaven okay."
I got up and wiped away my tears. "Honestly Ari why won't you just let me deal with Blaze? If I did in the first place this wouldn't have happened." I turned to look at Aaron, "No! you'll go to jail.." he rolled his eyes and walk towards me with his hands in his pocket, "then what are you going to do? Stand by and let him have his way like you always do?" I was about to say something but his glare was so intense I decied to shut my mouth. "Last chance Ari if you don't stop him I will," I flinched under his harsh tone and stiffly nodded.
