My life was like any other ordinary person. I wasn't special, didn't have anything interesting going on. Nothing.
Everyone else seems to be enjoying themselves but me, I'm stuck dealing with this boring life.
I really don't have much to do that will entertain me other than my online rpg. "Savior's of Heaven!" This rpg was the best way for me to spend my time.
It was limited though, everything still happened to bore me. This kind of sucked.
My life never use to be this way though, but things change with time and tragedy.
I started to realize that I couldn't have done anything during that time. But I'm still to blame, I was stupid that day.
My brother is dead because of me. My family holds hatred for me because he was the beloved favorite.
I just don't speak to them. It's better off that way, I'm only here till I graduate anyway.
Knock knock.
The knocking on the door echoed throughout the house for a few moments and then I went downstairs.
I opened the door and was instantly greeted by my good friend Shojo.
"Aye Shiro, just making sure you don't skip today." Said Shojo as he smiled.
Shojo was my best friend I guess you could say but he also was one of the most popular kids at the school.
"Let's just get going." I said while walking out the door.
We walked together to school most days but I didn't care for it.
"May my voice guide you."
What was that? Nevermind it was probably nothing.
After a few minutes we finally reached the school and as usual everyone looked at Shojo in awe. I don't know how he got so popular but it's cool.
Most girls hate me because of him though since he kind of jokes too much.
Mainly by calling me "cute" which isn't funny.
I got use to many things.
My days usually go by pretty fast but this class is going really slow. Oh wait I forgot to mention that I'm in class right?
Well it doesn't matter now since I'm going to the roof for a bit.
Best way to skip class, eat lunch, or just chill out. A lot of people use to go up there until they heard rumors about some kid jumping.
It's not that surprising that someone would believe something like that.
Leans.
I sometimes wonder if things are worth doing. But I know they are.
That's all that really matters after all right?
I heard sudden footsteps behind me and quickly turned around.
"Um hi." I said while waving at the random girl.
"Your so annoying, always hogging Shojo." Replied the girl as she pulled out a box cutter.
Hmm why don't I feel surprised?
She began to run and then she fell.
I'll probably regret this but it's whatever right?
The thing had fallen far from her reach so I wasn't worried.
I reached out and gave her my hand.
After pulling her back up I walked past her.
"If your gonna kill someone try not to be such a klutz next time." I said while opening the door.
Time to head home huh.
It didn't take me long to get all the way down from the roof but at least I can finally go home.
Every time I looked back I would just be reminded of the days my brother walked me here. These days are what help make sure I don't forget that he's gone.
After a few minutes of walking I had made it back to my house.
As I opened the door I saw Nina walking up.
"Hey Shiro, welcome home." Said Nina as she smiled.
She seemed to be the only one in the family that forgave me. But then again she is still a bit young too.
She's only two years behind me but some things don't come to her like they do to me.
"Thanks." I replied while walking past her and up stairs.
This house never seems to get old but it's boring.
Everything around me seems to bore me. I can't seem to figure it out.
Maybe it's best to just sleep and go to school and keep it going like that. Could be a smart thing to do.
Better off just cutting out my emotions so I won't feel this way anymore. I'll be able to rest, and do more things I never did.
I fell onto my bed and gazed out the window. Sometimes I really do wonder if that city exists.
The city I've read about, one that would be able to entertain me for years to come. But it's only a story after all.
The floating city would never exist, especially one like that.
I passed out moments after the thought had hit me.
"Is he really asleep?" Questioned a female voice.
"Of course, but are you sure he's the right one?" Answered the other voice with another question.
"Of course Kiko, but how shall we take him?" Questioned the girl.
"I still think it's a bad idea but find a way to wake him." Responded Kiko.
The girl climbed onto Shiro's bed and began to poke him.
Is it already time to wake up? My alarm doesn't sound like it has gone off yet.
I opened my eyes to see a girl with short pink hair sitting on my bed. It's a little hard to believe so maybe I am still dreaming.
"Who are you?" I questioned while sitting up.
"My name is Nikki, and I need you're help Shiro." Answered Nikki.
"Um this is a dream right?" I questioned while confused.
Nikki grabbed my hand and put it on her chest after I asked that.
"Ah this is a little weird!?!?!" I said while beginning to blush.
"You feel a heartbeat right?" Asked Nikki.
Thump thump.
"Y-Yeah I do." I replied.
"Now do you still think this is a dream?" Asked Nikki with a serious tone.
