Sara
My appearance was quite normal, mahogany hair, very white complexion, curvy build and the only thing that stood out about me were my honey-colored eyes and oh, how could I forget my breasts that never went unnoticed.
My family consisted of only my mother, whom I loved more than life itself. I never had a father, yet at some point in my life I needed him and wondered why he wasn't with us. Everything fell apart when, after two months of secretly searching for my father, I saw him with the woman I thought was his girlfriend and two children, one younger than the other. He was obviously younger than me; seeing that when I was twelve devastated me.
That was my first disappointment involving a man. The first of many.
I graduated from university with a degree in public accounting, which was a complete failure. I couldn't find a job and ended up working as the boss's secretary at a well-known company. It's just the way things go.
I had recently ended a relationship of more than three years with the man I thought was the love of my life, when he was just an unfaithful piece of trash.
I was in the depressed part of the breakup and my only friend Madison, in an attempt to lift my spirits, invited me (or rather forced me) to go to the beauty salon with her and get a radical change to supposedly "Be a new Sara and come out of my shell, babe" as she herself had said. I don't know if Madison being older than me made me listen to her in everything; she was thirty while I was twenty-five. I didn't see much of a difference.
Madison was like my older sister and I was the younger one, she always comforted me in my romantic disappointments.
After days of having my friend hound me, I agreed to accompany Madison and I think it was the best decision I ever made.
The first time I looked in the mirror after hours of being stuck in the salon, I was scared, but then I got used to it and had to admit that the change made me look gorgeous; I'd become a sexy bombshell. I immediately noticed the change upon leaving the salon; I had quite a few eyes on me.
The person I never thought would lay eyes on me was my dear boss, who was a grump and shouted left and right, something I didn't like at all.
All his flaws made Kennet go down a few notches for my taste, but come on, he was very handsome, a millionaire, and literally every woman in the company was drooling over him, including me.
From the first day I arrived "renewed," Kennet looked at me a lot. I wasn't used to male attention, and it's not that before my change in appearance I was the worst, but I never realized before the potential I had.
From just talking to him to let him know about meetings and work, our conversations had gone further and I saw he was interested in me.
Our conversations had gone so far that the most unexpected thing happened: we had sex.
It was the best experience for me in this field. I still don't remember how we got so far, but it kept happening.
In fact, he'd asked me, at one of our many dinners, to be his mistress because he wasn't good at romantic relationships, and I knew this very well, so well that for the past four years I'd had to endure tearful women who forced Kennet to talk to them. It made me feel so sorry for myself. What I feared most was becoming one of them; for me, that was inevitable.
I had fallen for my boss.
"Sara, please come to my office," Kenneth called over the communicator. I woke up and quickly walked over to his door and opened it.
"What do you need, Mr. Rhys?" I asked.
"For God's sake, don't call me sir when we're alone," he growled.
-What are you talking about? There are thousands of girls waiting for your office to attack you when you leave. - To which he laughed, I closed the door, walked towards him and sat on his legs.
-Mmm, I think someone's a little jealous, in any case I'm all yours- he traced the outline of my lips with the tip of his finger.- I have some bad news, babe. I have to close a deal. We won't be able to go out tonight.
"No problem, I'm planning on going out with Madison today," I said, even though I hadn't even made plans for today. Well, now I had them, I hoped Maddie wouldn't have anything to do.
"Be careful, okay?" He held me in his arms and stared at me before brushing a strand of hair away from my face. There were times when he looked at me like that, so intensely that I thought he might have feelings for me, but then he was cruel, emphasizing that it was only temporary.
