Eyes reflect like the sky,

They reflect the dim grey one day and the unobstructed blue the next.

They reflect the everlasting emotion of the heavens and the never changing emotionless feelings of the earth.

They reflect the creatures that dwell there, the cheerful birds and the sorrowful solitude of the lions.

They reflect the sea’s beautiful, turbulent waters and the wild, ever-moving, surface of the sand that connects to it.

They reflect the ever-changing, endless countryside that transpires and materialises before them.

And they reflect with a tearful look, that timeless landscape falling to the destruction of people.

Only leaving a hollow husk of what they used to call earth.

They reflect it like the sky.
