The Doctor's Son

A Little Trip

A Little Trip

Jul 28, 2019

I was painfully aware the moment I entered the town that these saggy clothes were too torn away.

I looked homeless.

But my normal clothes were too shiny and princely. I'd stand out like a sore thumb.

Maybe if I tore some of the rhinestones and gold lining off then I'd blend in. They might be worth something too if I collect enough.

First thing first, I need to see a doctor.

Blood seeped through the thick fabric of my pants. The pain didn't really bother me.

When I was a dumb 16 year old, I met a lovely girl. Sasha was her name.

She loved me deeply but I didn't feel the same way. Instead of kindly sending her off, I lied saying that I was madly in love with a man from another town.

She know that I was lying and cursed me, saying that until I found a man that I would fall in love with I would forever bear with injuries wherever I went.

In summary, I'm clumsy.

That's step one anyways.

Sasha's sister, Emily decided to give a locket to help me realize who I truly loved since I had never been in love and I didn't understand what I would feel.

The second step is that within next three months after I realize my love is to make them fall in love me. That's the hard part.

I'm now seventeen and my father sent me away, unable to deal with hurting myself everywhere I went. I would become king next year and I needed someone by my side male or not.

I approached a male vendor, stepping off my horse carefully, "Excuse me, sir?"

Despite being near my age, he growled out, "The hell do you want, kid?"

I coughed, "I'd like to know where the nearest doctor is."

The boy, or man?, pointed forward, "Dr. Baltimore, best doctor for your wound. Keep walking straight 'til you see a kid selling flowers."

I smiled, giving a small wave as I walked forward slowly, "Thank you!"

I would have memorize how to get there because I'll seeing Dr. Baltimore quite a lot.

Elijah was a magnet for injuries due to a curse placed on him. Everyone called Unlucky back in his old town. He's sure that he'll be the doctor a lot here too but maybe not for his injuries.
