And now we finally have the second book starting. I wrote down the main scenes of the story when I was a developing writer, and I want to honor my ideas of the past. Although some ideas will be changed, I hope you give mercy to the ideas of the younger me :)

Important** Would you prefer shorter chapter parts uploaded weekly (like the previous book, 900-1500 words) or would you prefer a full chapter uploaded monthly (longer read, 4000-6000 words)? I'll weigh my own convenience and time, too, but want to understand the best reader experience, as well.

For now, I'll post the first chapter in parts.

Summary

Let's start with an informal summary of the previous book's events:

Drokn (Demon) and Eial (Elf, can use multiple elements) are bonded mates, which they found out after Drokn was teleported into the elven territory by his mother, Vrona, using spellcasting. Initially, Drokn wanted nothing to do with the elf yet after many trials and tribulations, Drokn had learned to enjoy the elf's company.

Drokn had been the heir to the throne for the demon lands. However, for many reasons, the king decided to banish him, which gave Drokn the fury to get revenge on the king and steal the throne from him. He was joined by Eial and Vrona with the goal of making Drokn the king. Throughout their adventures, Drokn came to learn the atrocities of the king and vowed to defeat him not only for himself, but to create better conditions for all the demons who were mistreated by the king.

During their journey, they came across mysterious craters caused by explosions. These explosions seemed to have elemental energies of all kinds attached to them, causing them to believe the craters may have been created by a mysterious elf who also was attuned to various elements- an elf known as AE001, an experimented elf who happened to also be Vrona's brother's bonded mate. Who also killed Vrona's brother.

In the final battle of the throne, a group of rebels consisting of demons within and outside the palace came together to take down the king with the unexpected help of Tahgaryn, Drokn's younger brother. After many misunderstandings and learnings, Drokn and Eial joined forces to leave the group and focus on the trouble outside the palace- where sudden elemental instability all throughout the demon lands caused spontaneous explosions and destruction.

In the end, the rebels won the battle against the king and Drokn and Eial succeeded control and stabilization over the elemental energies together, saving the demon lands and the people.

Drokn had collapsed, and in that time, Tahgaryn took over royal duties, to his own displeasure.

Yet when Drokn finally awoke, ready to take on demon king duties, he found out that Eial left the palace, and left him.
