Anna:  A human child who was raised by the Winter Court fae. She was adopted by Duchess Siusan, given the fae name Aine, and was trained to be a fighter and magic user. She was turned into an assassin and later into a fighter in the Winter Arena. 

Jasmine: A girl raised in the human realm. She begins to develop supernatural abilities and seeks answers to understand them as she enters the world of magic. 

Donna: A fae companion to Anna while she lives in the world of the fae. 

Siusan: A duchess and archfae in the Winter Court. She adopted Anna when she was brought to Otherworld and gave her the fae name of Aine. 

Mab: The fae queen of the Winter Court.
