Nathan Ashcroft and his wife, Agatha Ashcroft, were currently sitting at the bar of the most popular club of the Ignatius Continent, west of the Ring Continent; they were both sipping on rum as if it was their last day on earth. In total they had drank a total of 4 shooters of the strongest rum that the bar had and yet, That still did not stop Nathan from deciding to drive back to his home with his damn car… ahh …young stupid people…not thinking about the risks of drinking… If only he knew the fate that was awaiting him…
Their car roared through the wind on the road; the engine was heard echoing through the walls of the tunnel they were driving down off… this specific tunnel had a very…very sharp turn down it… but Nathan clearly did not know that… Oh, you should had seen his face… He definitely shat himself when he realized he had to turn, but oh… he was so late to do so… way too late. Their car flipped off the turn and landed below. It was a miracle that they had both survived the fall.
Nathan let out a soft moaning gasp as he felt that a sharp piece of glass had pierced right into his right eye, blinding him on that side. The sound of the right front door being forcefully opened from the outside caught his attention; he tried to reach out for his wife, but…she was…gone? The person who opened the door probably just rescued her and was going to go back for him…right? But they never did.
The next day, Nathan woke up alone in a hospital bed. He ran out of his room, not caring about the hospital staff trying to get him back to his room; he only wanted to know about his wife. He pushed himself through until he reached the main hall of the hospital and the information booth. He immediately asked about Agatha Ashcroft, but to his horror, the hospital had no record of her. His wife had not been saved that night; she had been kidnapped.
Nathan was brought back to his room forcefully, but there was one thing that caught his eye as he was being dragged back. A job offer on the wall of the hospital for the job of private detective—hell, they even offered classes too. As he was being dragged, he snatched the job offer from the wall. Knowing this was his best way to find back his wife. He was willing to find her no matter the cost.
No matter… The cost.
