King George's Last Message

I was the king of the most powerful kingdom of all, The Kingdom Faragon, Everyone was happy with what I had done with my kingdom, we had the most wealth, the most exotic resources and above all, we held in our possession the mystical Gem of Power.

We thought that with the power of the Gem, our kingdom would become the biggest and the most powerful, but all it did was lead us to our ruin and destruction. It corrupted us with greed and jealousy that even those who were considered to have the purest of hearts gave in to the Gem's power. It led them to kill one another for the sake of getting wealth and resources.

But no matter how much they gain, they still have one thing they need and that's the Gem.

Scared of what might happen to the kingdom and the world if they ever get their hands on the Gem, I took it away as far as I can. I brought it to my family's tomb a top the mountain of Secrets, where no one knows the location of it, other from myself and a few of my trusted allies.

As I entered the tomb, I felt the Gem taking my life force. With all the strength I have left, I managed to throw it in my family's treasure room and locked it. With the few strength I have managed to keep, I put a magical seal onto the door so that none may enter the room, other from the third-born of other kingdoms.

As I slump over the door, with the last few breaths that I have, I pray to the gods that in time, one person shall be able to get the gem and bring light to this forgotten land.
