I dreamt of being a king but later did I realize the hardships of being one. let's head to me currently.

 I'm running down the forest as I'm being chased by some kind of monster but my feet trip and fall crashing into the dirt. I look back in horror but the beast did not harm me it looked at me with a worried expression seeing me hurt.

 I looked at my leg seeing it bleed but being ten I didn't care. Suddenly the beast put its paw on my leg healing the injury as I took a closer look at the mighty beast. see in my world we have companions. But this being a dragon he can shrink his size it seems.

 I slowly stand up and I decide to speak "H-hi" The dragon looks at me and speaks "Hello young one."  I show a shocked expression because he spooked back but then I remember I needed to get home but then the dragon said something "Young one could I possibly come with you I'm getting bored staying in this forest" I'd chuckle "But you're too big for my house!" In a second he became the size of a fox.

"Oh yeah, I forgot you could shrink your full size would be noticeable to everyone" He nods and jumps onto my back and curls around my neck like a scarf. By the way, My name is Aiden Lachlan my mom's name is Kate Lachlan my dads is Cooper Lachlan.

I'd arrived back home but let me explain some stuff about this world. We have companions and monsters and mana. There are three kingdoms The human kingdom The Monarch kingdom and The Elf kingdom. I don't live n a kingdom since I and my family are low-class citizens.

"AIDEN!" my mom yells "Where have you been! and what is that lizard creature on your neck?" Mom, I plead "Can I keep the animal?" making puppy eyes and of course, she agrees so I walk into the house and go upstairs going into my room. "So this your room," the dragon says "yes it is so I don't wanna come at you power-hungry but would you like to be my companion at school everybody has one but I don't because the companions stay away from me like they're afraid of something or someone.." I'm expecting to get yelled at or afraid he will kill me and my family.

But He says "I've been looking for a vessel for some time but everyone else is too weak or scared but you are the perfect even when people find me they run and never speak of it but yes I will be your companion" I'd grab him and put him on my bed "Thank you.." 

Since my window was up my white hair blew with it. Revealing my blue eyes my mom's eyes are brown she has brown hair tho. I see how it matches. dad's hair is brown also with blue eyes and muscular my mom is slim and beautiful the whole village simps for her...it's kind of gross I start the academy tomorrow I'd look on the bed at the dragon laying down "hey I never got your name?" "Zion is my name.

"I just notice your wings look stretchable must be very large your scales look rough too but smushy at the same time guess I didn't notice this earlier for being scared still" I'd laugh and Zion laughed too. It's sunset it's gonna be night soon mind as well head to bed.

 I lay down in my bed Zion moves beside me and curls up like a dog would and falls asleep. "Night Zion" and I drift to sleep.
