“Wake up Milla! Milla! Wake up!”
I groaned as I turned over in my sleep, shielding my body from the light and from the voice that was trying to wake me up. For once in my stressful author life I was finally at peace. I was on a soft bed and the blanket that was draped over my body kept me warm and cozy. I needed this break of slumber. I've been up for days trying to upload chapters and stories for everyone to enjoy but I’ve been stuck for ages that it’s hard to come up with anything anymore.
“Milla! Wake up! MILLIA!”
I had enough of the yelling so I turned over and opened my hazel eyes, only to be greeted by a woman with ocean blue eyes and hair. Just what the hell was going on? Who is this woman? How does she know my name? Where am I? Wasn’t I in my office?
Questions filled my head as I stared at the woman’s face. She was extremely beautiful, cute thick cheeks and a heartfelt smile. Her rose beige skin glowed as her curly blue hair blew against my face. I scrambled myself off of the bed, falling onto the floor with a very loud thud.
The woman rushed over towards me before scooping me up. How could a grown woman pick me up?! I’m a grown woman as well.
I squirmed around in her thick arms as I tried to get out of her grip, that’s when I noticed. My feet were extremely tiny. So small to that point that I thought someone had cut off my feet. I pressed down on my urges to scream once I stopped squirming. The woman sighed out of relief before pressing her forehead against mine. She brought me over towards a mirror where she placed me down onto the carpet floor. I glanced up at my reflection and I gasped at what I saw. I was a kid all over again. Eighteen years of my life, flushed down the drain. I was six years old all over again. I belched up the biggest scream as I turned away from the mirror, clutching the woman’s light blue gown. She gently placed her hand onto my head before stroking my hair ever so gently. The woman’s touch felt so familiar, she even looked familiar yet I just couldn’t put my finger on it. After a while, I finally calmed down from my near heart attack state. I stared into the eyes of the familiar woman who was just beaming a bright smile back at me.
“Now tell me sugar, why is my child losing her mind as soon as she wakes up. Did you have another fear dream?”
My brian finally clicked together once I fully heard the woman’s accent. She was one of the characters I made within one of my books. The Grand Duchess of Vulpin, Madam Bloom, or as I address her as, the villainess. My jaw dropped as I stared up at her, pinching myself to make sure I didn’t die which I clearly wasn’t.
“C-Child? Me? Your child?”
Madam Bloom cackled as she scooped me up again, only to suffocate me within her breasts. She spun us around before planting kisses all over my head.
“It’s not everyday I get pregnant and give birth to a beautiful baby girl. You look just like your father…If only he were here to watch you grow…Sadly he is off playing war with his buddies…”
I tilted my head to the side. I never gave this character a husband, nor did I give her a person to love. Why is the story changing? Is it because of me?
I decided to shake my mind off of the subject at hand and focus on my proclaimed ‘mother’ who I personally adored. She was not only beautiful but powerful. She had enough power to knock a whole nation to ashes yet she only wants to live within peace. Her backstory is a tragic one but I still love her for the obstacles she overcame.
“Papa’s gone to war? Why? Doesn’t Papa love us?”
I noticed her expression became bitter before beamin up again. She took me towards a wardrobe before dressing me into a frilly blue dress to match her own dress. She brushed my hair up into a puffy bun before placing a huge blue sparkly boy in the middle of my bun. She then placed blue flats onto my feet before taking the both of us towards a huge door. Two guards that were standing by the door bowed their heads before pushing the door open. A huge breeze blew against my face causing me to close my eyes for a bit but once I was able to open them I was greeted by a beautiful garden and carriage. The carriage was blue and gold and had two beautiful dark knight horses. ‘Mother’ placed me into the carriage before getting in herself. She closed the door before signaling her hand out of the window, which caused the carriage to move.
“Where are we going?”
Mother’s gaze darkened as she stared straight ahead. “To visit an old friend…”
I knew exactly who she was talking about. Her oldest rival, Queen Curtinus. The woman who inflicted trouble amongst Mother’s family and friends. That woman is nothing but pure evil. Ironic isn’t it.
I rested my head against my mother’s shoulder, exhaling as I tried to cope with what I was dealing with. Mother’s scent flooded my brain, causing it to go into a haze. My eyelids began to close and before I knew it, I fell asleep.
“Milla, deary…Milla…MILLA!”
I jolted awake as I was being awoken by Mother. She gave me a smile before pointing out of the carriage window.
“We’ve arrived!”
The carriage came to a halt and the door was swung open by a royal guard. Being the author of this story I knew exactly where we were. The shiny damn kingdom of the two heroes of the story. The Experginsins Castle. The damn thing was painted in gold and jewels that it would blind any demon and send them straight to heaven. I squinted my eyes before grabbing Mother’s hand. She chuckled before walking, me following right behind. After a minute of walking we finally reached the front doors of the Experginsins Castle. The guards pushed open the door and waiting on the opposite side of the door was the royal family themselves. King Burtis, Queen Curtinus, Princess Linian, and Prince Linn. The prince and princess were identical twins, which caused quite a shock throughout the town of Experginsins. I poked my head from the side of Mother and locked eyes with both of the twins. They stared at me before hiding behind their mother. The twins looked younger than me so I had to guess that they were around the age of four. I was mentally fangirling due to how cute they looked. Their peachy skin, golden hair, and ruby eyes shined as they also poked their heads out from each side of their mother’s dress.
“Bertha…I mean, your HIGHness”
“Luina Bloom…I mean, Madam Bloom”
The tension in the room grew as the two older women began to bicker. I walked in front of my mother before being taken by the hand. I turned my head to see who was holding my left hand and it turned out to be the king. He gave an apologetic look before holding his own children’s hands. He gave a motion with his head, telling us to follow him, which us little ones did. He brought us towards a room. The twins room. Their room was bigger than any building I’ve ever seen. The father placed us into the room before leaving, locking the door behind him from what I heard. I turned away from the door only to be greeted by the twins, bright eyes and shocked.
“You’re pretty!” Prince Linn spoke ever so gently.
“She looks like a dark pig, a skinny one at the most…” Princess Linian said out of spite.
She is lucky she isn’t in my present time or else she would’ve been locked up and shunned for her actions. Either that or I would’ve beaten her to a pulp.
I rolled my eyes at her comment before throwing myself onto their shared bed, resulting in them following close behind me. As I laid on their bed, I saw both of their heads appear from each side of my vision. They looked at each other before looking back down at me.
“Can we marry you?!”
