A spaceship crashes on a planet. Doggy and Bip sprint
out of the spaceship before it has a mild explosion. They high-five
each other.
“Isn’t this place weird?”
Bip replies with “yep.” He holds a fistful of dirt on his hand and takes a close look at it. “Very weird.”
Doggy’s belly growls. “Guess we gotta look for food, Bip.”
“Hmph, you’re right.” Bip tastes a bit of the dirt. “Oh! It’s sweet!”
“Why do you have to eat dirt on every planet we—did you say ‘sweet’?”
A bunch of creatures appear. They are cute, but don’t seem exactly friendly.
“Bip, they look dangerous.”
“No, they’re just curious about the spaceship.”
“We have to hide, Bip.”
“Oh, don’t act like a chicken, Doggy.” Bip laughs. “Just look at them, they’re really cute!”
One of the creatures gets close to Bip. Its big eyes look directly into his green face.
“See, Doggy? They’re friendly creatures!”
Doggy points at the creature with his laser gun. “We can’t be sure!”
“No, Doggy, don’t panic. I’m sure they’re friendly. Look, they’re asking if we’re food. That’s a sign that they’re friendly. Right, Doggy?”
“Uh . . . Bip, your arm.”
The creature is tasting Bip’s arm.
“What? What’s up with my arm—OH, NO, IT’S EATING MY ARM. HELP ME, DOGGY! HELP ME!”
Doggy hits the hungry creature with the back of his laser beam and all of the creatures escape. “Okay, it’s gone. You can stop crying now.”
“No, I’m not crying! Who’s crying?” Bip is quick to wipe his tears with his arm, which is covered in alien saliva.
“Who’s the chicken now?”
A shower of laser beams come out of nowhere. Doggy and Bip roll on the ground until they get behind a sugar bush.
“What’s going on?!” Bip freaks out.
“How should I know?!”
There’s a flash of light. They could hear an evil cackle.
“Who’s laughing? That’s creepy.”
“Bip, stop asking so many questions!” Doggy squints his eyes as the light gets brighter.
“Wait, I think I can see someone . . .” Bip raises his head. “Doggy, that silouette looks familiar.”
“It can’t be . . .”
