The ground rose up in the midst of the blood soaked field, the cellular composition of the land pulling itself together to form Kairo Khrona, the strange cosmic man, followed immediately by the surface of a horned head coagulating under him from the same earth that he had forged himself from.
Kairo Khrona immediately hopped from the head of whatever creature was peeking out from below the surface of the ground and touched the soil, soaking up the DNA of the slain.
"..."
Thanytoz, sitting at his chair at the front desk of his luxury establishment, would remain with his eyes closed, waiting for one of the escorts of the Forbidden Hotel to return to him after finishing her job, so that he could have a talk with her. He waited patiently for whenever she would return.
Once she appeared, Thanytoz remained silent this time, not even dignifying most of what she had said or done with a response. It was negligible and would only feed into her bad behavior, of which she was still unaware was the reason why she was being treated as she had been. Unfortunately, that was the price to pay for an ignorant child, and this one refused to correct herself. However, knowing the source of this outburst from her words, Thanytoz could see that his punishment on her had been too severe recently, despite all of her utter failures, even down to the point of their falling out and her complete death before Thanytoz's resurrection of her. It was time for Thanytoz to change his approach, then.
"Have A Seat." His voice seemed very formal and stern, as if what he was about to say was of great importance. "If You Have Any Questions About What You Wish To Know, State Them Now Before I Begin About Why I Summoned You Here From The Dead."
She knew nothing and it was very clear in her manner of approach, but because she felt like she had all she needed in order to prove her point to Thanytoz was all he needed to prove his, as well. That was the beauty of someone else collecting all of the evidence they had; it was able to be compared to whatever the other party had, and in this case, the servant was very ignorant of the truth of these matters and the depth of the inner workings of this intricate system. She was still very stuck and very lost, but that was exactly why he brought her back. "I Brought You Back To Show You Just The Opposite, Girl..." he uttered, yet the bass of his voice would have echoed in the air around them, showing his severity. "You And Your Feelings Toward Me Are Misguided, As Expected." He shook his head, already knowing what she was truly feeling upset about, as it showed in her voice and in her words. "Allow Me To Correct Them. Everyone Has A Purpose And Each Is Different. Yours Is Not The Same As Your Sister's, And Neither Is Your Place In The Family Business. To Move Out Of That Place Is To Harm Not Only The Family, But Also Yourself, And The Trust Of The Family That You Are As You Are And Where You Should Be. It Insults Us." Knowing that she was very green to how Business worked, it was about time for him to explain that to her, as well.
"This Leads Me Directly Into Why I Summoned You Here, As You Can And Will See." Because she would not sit, Thanytoz would stand, then face her. "Come," he called lowly, starting to walk off toward the back. "There Is More To This Family Than Just Its Light." There was much more to be explained to her once she was taken.
"Settle Down, Now, Lass..." he called to her in a nearly lulled, yet still strict tone, "... Let Big Daddy Explain How This System Runs..." She had not yet accepted herself as part of the family, which was to set herself up to meet the standards of the Family, itself. She was being stubborn and blind, yet this was only natural for one in the dark.
"The Way You Have Acted In Times Past Has Not Been Like That Of Family," he began, breaking down each layer of her words and context on the many different levels that it mattered and what the outcome in severity was for each layer of intensity that her actions in her misguidance would have brought her in the standard of the Eye of the family, "This Is Not Because Of What We Have Done Nor How We Have Treated You, But Simply You Not Living Up To The Expectations Of Being In The Family." The Tensei family had a very strict code of regulation for the maximum effect of their powers being produced, and the servant hadn't wished to not only fall into the order of what she was supposed to do, but also how she would be able to fit in the best possible way based on her character. "It's Because You Had Not Accepted Yourself As Placed."
Thanytoz opened a door and brought her to a dark room, of which there were very dim lights. "Granted, It Takes Time To Accept Who You Are, But If You Remain At The Standards Of The Level You Have Been Placed, Then You Will Meet The Requirements Of Both The Family And Yourself." As Thanytoz stepped into the room, another set of eyes opened up in the background, looking to be something like his, piercing red and sharp as a blade, with slits like those sliced by an edge. They seemed to be the eyes of a great dragon, of sorts. "Then, Perhaps, You Will Be Able To See Your Purpose, And Your Place In This Family." What would lay behind that door was for Thanytoz to know and the servant to find out... Only if she felt as though she should step any further. If she didn't enter the doorway, then it would close before her and their conversation will have ended. "I Am Taking You Under My Wing Into The Dark Network... Tzita Does Something Completely Different From What You Would Do, And Because I Could See That You Were Not Ready To Be Part Of This Family, I Was Aware That You Would Not Be Doing The Same Thing As She." This was going to be considered her 'Test,' so to speak, of how much she trusted her father and how for the family she truly was.
"Do Not Doubt Your Father And His Judgment. Tell Us Now. Are You Ready To Accept Your Place As Part Of This Family, Or Do You Still Need Time To Yourself To Prepare Yourself?
"Good Girl..." he grumbled, the door closing behind her. Immediately, she would be taken out into the back of the Forbidden Hotel, which was all of Rue, the Warrior's Wasteland. "It Is Time For Your First Lesson."
Immediately after, the third eye of the monster in the territory should have suddenly opened like a doorway from another realm, and both the servant and Thanytoz would step from the creature's Third Eye of already linked mind to it, then draw its head up from the ground. "I Will Be Teaching You Three Of My Many Dark Techniques, And I Want You To Copy Them Using Your Natural Ability," he would say, immediately allowing her to peer into his own Third Eye and have access to his abilities through his Devourism, Makaze.
Makaze; Black Hole Wind
Thanytoz's special 'Devourism,' 'Makaze,' generates black holes, voids, nothingness, darkness and the Zero World through intense gravitational pulls that can become infinitely strong and controlled by the consumptive force of his will alone, usually powered by his hunger. The hungrier he is, the more powerful the Makaze. He can freely manipulate the pull of the suction, even beyond the power of normal black holes.~
When allowed to see the knowledge of what the energy she was going to be using was and how it could be used, he would then provide for her the knowledge of the three techniques he would allow her to see and utilize from his own. "Learn How To Use Them In Combat, And Then I Will Teach You How To Use Them In Everyday Life After Assessing How Well You Would Use My Abilities Gifted To You." At that point, the servant would be allowed to see three completely different techniques of Thanytoz;
-Consumption (Absorption)-
~Typically known as 'Absorption' to most Tensei, this is the ability to absorb energy through consuming it in any fashion available to the user at the time and acquiring its properties, abilities or characteristics.~
-Spade-
~Causes sharp, piercing spires of Makaze shaped like Spades jut out of solid surfaces as he sees fit, including his own body. He may also generate disembodied 'Spades' at will to fire off like arrows.~
-Vamperial Fang-
~His signature and 'Imperial Vampiric' technique that generates individual fangs harboring bat wings, which stab into and drain the power of anything physical that they are to sink into. He may create multitudes as a swarm that may converge to become larger forms to increase power, becoming different shapes and sizes (such as large mouths or a giant bat made of pure teeth) that harbor the same intent. Touching any of the 'Vamperial Fangs' will result in the same effect, no matter what form they may take. They all have their own individual sentience, but all of their intelligence is linked to Thanytoz and they move as individual separations of his own will as well as to his will when he wishes. They can also be used as tracking devices and to give energy instead of taking it. If they absorb an elemental property, they will take on that element and become it (ex. If they stab into someone who has fire power, the fang that drew the energy will become a 'Fire Fang.')~
"Under My Supervision, I Will Allow You To Inherit My Abilities, And I Will Teach You How To Use Them In Battle, Myself." She would be free to expand upon them, but in terms of her own progress, she was allowed no more than the three techniques of his choice until further notice. "Therefore, Kairo Khrona, I Am Dismissing You And Commandeering This Dragon And Shall Use It To Train This Lass." Kairo Khrona's purpose was more or less as a spontaneous event generator more than a main character, and was simply here to move things along, sometimes. His greater purpose was elsewhere, and Thanytoz, knowing that, merely took his chance in that moment to make an executive decision and give Kairo Khrona leeway to move about elsewhere. After addressing Kairo Khrona on the update of the scenario, Thanytoz turned his head to the lass again and opened his eyes, glaring into her soul, saying "However, You Must Heed My Words If I Am Ever To Speak Them Out. Understand That I Say Them For A Reason, Sometimes Concerning Your Own Life Or Death At The Time." Tabitha, his Blood Daughter, was about dealing with even deeper matters here underground, whilst Tzita, his Reincarnated Daughter was still out entertaining, but both of them listened to Thanytoz whenever he gave them instructions, regardless of if they wanted to or not.
"To Be Treated Like A Daughter, You Must First Be Treated As A Child That Does Not Know How To Do Certain Things Being Newly Born. An Example Of This Is Your Placement In This Scenario Out Of Nowhere That You Know Nothing About And Have No Idea What To Do About Initially; Fresh From The Womb." Therefore, that meant that there should not have been anything that the servant girl was able to do from that point, unless she was already aware of what needed to be done with the information she was given. If she felt like she already knew, then she would be allowed to do so, yet Thanytoz would first finish his conversation with her. There was no one around to interrupt them with Kairo Khrona dismissed (since he was a very loyal soldier), especially since Mei was also out doing something, as well. This would be Thanytoz and the lass' time, and each of her problems that she was just previously complaining about should have been resolved all at the same time. "How Would You Like To Go About This Further?"
Kairo Khrona stood up, glaring down at the ground, already knowing that his purpose here was fulfilled. There was nothing left for him to do here and he certainly had better things to do, of which Thanytoz knew very well, as well. This was good. "Thank You," he would say humbly after being relieved of his duties, feeling nothing except expectation to complete the next task at hand. Kairo Khrona slipped into the ground, assimilating with its DNA completely and began to populate Valparaiso with Items.
Thanytoz closed his eyes and sighed heavily, placing a hand to his forehead and pinching the bridge of his nose in what seemed to be both disappointment and aggravation. "... Child. You're here for the reasons you asked to be here. To be treated as part of the family and to accept your place." He shook his head, wondering why it was so very difficult for this one to pay attention. At least with the others, he could get them to understand him. "Pay Attention. No one likes anyone who is not doing as they are supposed to and hindering others in the process, which is where your feelings of 'others hating you' comes from. You must be more diligent in your work and have more consideration for others. Then, they will consider you more highly for doing work that has more to show than what effort you've been putting forth."
The dragon that Thanytoz stood atop, Nidhogg, was completely tame and submissive, despite being the greatest and most powerful there was. This was because of the nature of his servitude and the wisdom he carried of his place and why, unlike many dragons that had no such discipline nor guidance, and thus wreaked havoc on the entire cosmos due to that unknowing. Therefore, as Thanytoz commandeered him and melded with his Third Eye in order to establish a mental link, there was no resistance put forth. "... What is going on is that we're testing the inner workings of the Veritas as well as the effectiveness of the family as a unit. To be a unit, you must first be in place and know where you belong inside of the greater whole and not just as a stand-alone person. That is where you keep failing to assimilate into this family properly. You stand alone, yet claim you want to be part of something more than yourself. Listen to your contradictions and work toward what you want truly." He finally lowered his hand from his face and looked at the lass sternly, asking her once more, "Are you SURE you are ready to do this? If you are not, it is fine... But don't ask me why you are where you are again."
