Paul Gekko was born as the long forgotten heir to the Gekko Clan. He was 18 years old, with brown hair, small green eyes, wearing a green shirt, blue pants and ninja sandals. Paul Gekko is a Jinchuriki of the eight headed serpent Yamata no Orochi, but other than that, he is a justice protecting teenager. He lives with his grandpa, Gamamaru who is the Great Toad Sage.

“Have you taken your medicine child?” Said the Great Sage. “Yeah grandpa I get it.” the boy said as he take his pills and drank water from the cup. As Paul Gekko went to bed, that night, Gamamaru hears a strange rumbling from the entrance. Out of it was a was a creepy and ugly monstrous insect with six legs and razor sharp claws, dripping wings and a hook at the end of its tail, craving to steal souls of man and beast, very hungry. It comes out with one eye burning with evil flames.

“Have you come to kill the Children of Prophecy?” Gamamaru said with a slow and elderly voice. Suddenly, a creature stabbed Gamamaru on the chest and spoke in its own words.

“What a shame for you that frogs do move.” The creature said as it merged with the Toad Sage “I have long waited for that modern civil war to end.” Slowly and dying, Gamamaru struggles against the creature as it summons Paul Gekko from his sleep.

“Gramps, what’s the matter?” Paul Gekko said as he rushed to Gamamaru’s aid.

“Please listen to my words, the words of the Great Toad Sage” dost thou sense it? the climate of darkness and evil descending upon this realm……darker force even now are planning to attack and kill the children of prophecy.  The Toad Sage slowly dies as an evil creature emerges from his body.

The creature revealed itself as the Chaos Kin.

“Shall I take a bite out of you boy!” The Chaos Kin said as it prepares its battle stance. Paul Gekko screamed in fear as he hates monsters from the closet. Suddenly a giant toad stepped in and stabbed the creature without hesitation. Gamabunta being his usual grumpy self, said with a grumpy voice. “The Chaos Kin of the Gohma. The monster was sent by an evil being known as Dr. Eggman”.

“Grandpa? GRANDPA!!!” Paul Gekko said. He wept in tears as the Great Toad Sage’s body was smelted into piles of ash.

“I never actually seen this kind of creature.” Fukasaku said, examining a creature. “I tried to protect Grandpa and I saw what it did to him. His final words were entrusted to me…” Paul Gekko said, sadly as he spoke with Fukasaku.

“Besides Paul Gekko. We will inform Jiraiya of your grandfather’s wishes to you.” Shima said with a sweet loving voice.

“I will find the Child of Prophecy, Mother of the Toad Way”. Paul Gekko said, as he prepares to leave. “Please give my regards to Gamakichi.”

“Take care of yourself kid. Ungraceful as I am”.

Paul Gekko departs to the Konohagakure to find the Child of Prophecy.

Inside Konoha,  Paul Gekko was rushed aside by a boy running and carrying a bucket of paint, laughing. Behind him, are two Ninja’s chasing him. As he spins around in circles, he was dizzy and says with a silly voice. “Is that a blond blur.” Paul Gekko said, as lay his back on the wall.

In the office of the Hokage, the Third Hokage was sitting down, in front of a canvas. “I hope you’re not bothering me with some trivia, and don’t tell me its Naruto again.” The Third Hokage said, turning from his writing.

“Its the new kid from the Izumogakure! He was pushed aside by Naruto. Naruto climbed onto the great stone faces! He put graffiti all over the Hokage!” Said the two Konoha Ninja, as the Third Hokage sighs. Meanwhile, Naruto Uzumaki, who was standing up against the fence in that spot, drops the sheet that hid him, and laughs, hand behind his head.

“That was too easy…!” Said Naruto. Paul Gekko wakes up and sees him standing right beside him. “HUUUH! WHO ARE YOU!!” Paul Gekko shouted too loud. Naruto jumps up, crying out, shocked. He lands on his butt facing Paul Gekko. “Where’d you come from stranger!? What are you doing here?” Naruto said suspiciously. Paul Gekko spoke with his gentle words. “Umm. Just getting into class.”

At the Konoha Academy, a ninja named Iruka was introducing Paul Gekko to the students. “Everyone, this is Paul Gekko. he will be our new student.” Iruka said. “Hello everyone, my name is Paul Gekko and this my new buddy, Naruto.” He said with a gentle voice as Naruto looks at him with a glare.

“Come on Naruto, we need to learn the Transformation Jutsu together.” Paul Gekko said.

“You heard him Naruto, everyone is reviewing the Transformation Jutsu!” Iruka said, pointing at the class as the students are groaning and lining up. Naruto steps forward. Hinata Hyūga is down in the line, blushing, and pressing her fingers together hoping that he will do his best.

“Transform!” Naruto shouted. Iruka was knocked back into the floor.

“You really shouldn’t have done done that.” Paul Gekko said with a frown. “That’s my Sexy Jutsu!” Naruto said. “Cut the sneaky tricks!” Iruka yelled.

At the stone faces, Paul Gekko watches Naruto scrubbing the paint off the faces of the Hokage.

“This sucks Paul Gekko.” Naruto said.

“You need to scrub harder if you want to get the job done.” Paul Gekko said with a smile. Naruto stops scrubbing, looks up at Paul Gekko.

“So what? It’s not like there’s anyone waiting at home for me.” Said Naruto. Iruka looks at Paul Gekko and Naruto.

“Well, I was just thinking. Maybe after you clean this all up I can take you out for some ramen. The good stuff. What do you think?” Iruka said, looking down Naruto. Naruto smiled happily said, “Don’t worry Paul Gekko, I’ll have this clean in no time!”

That night, Paul Gekko, Iruka and Naruto are at the Ramen shop slurping noodles. Paul Gekko finished his noodles. “Your to fast to paint the stoned faces Naruto.” Paul Gekko said. “Course I do.” Naruto answered, slurping his noodles and finished his bowl. “Everybody knows. They were the greatest Shinobi of their time, right? The best of the best. Undefeated Ninja champs. And the Fourth Hokage’s the one who saved the village from the Nine-Tailed Fox. He was the most amazing.”

“You paint the Hokage faces that fast?” Paul Gekko asked.

“Me. Naruto. The next Hokage!” answered Naruto, pointing at Paul Gekko and Iruka with his chopsticks. “A Ninja legend! Believe it!”

The next day, Paul Gekko watches Naruto do the final exam and failed. Paul Gekko walked outside to find Naruto sitting off to the side, on a swing in the shade of the tree, looking over depressed.

“Cheer up Naruto. I hope will succeed. I know you will.” said Paul Gekko with a small smile. “Thanks a lot.” Naruto to said. There is Mizuki. Over near the students, Iruka is with the Third Hokage, Hiruzen, and they are watching Naruto and Mizuki. “Iruka. There is something we need to talk about.” said the Third Hokage.

“Iruka Sensei is tough…. Mizuki-kun, why does he pick Naruto?” Paul Gekko asked kindly. “He wants him to be strong. With all his heart. He’s like you, you know. No parents. No family.” answered Mizuki. “But… I really wanted to graduate Paul Gekko.” said Naurto, looking all sad and glum.

“Then I guess I’ll have to tell you. It’s a secret.” Mizuki chuckled.

One night, Iruka was hearing someone knocking at the door. It was Mizuki calling Iruka. Mizuki informs Iruka that Paul Gekko is from Izumogakaure and stole the scroll.

“You mean the Scroll of Sealing? No!” Iruka said shockingly. Iruka rushes to the assembly in front of the Third Hokage. “Lord Hokage! This is not just a prank. This is a serious crime!” Bekko said seriously. The scroll contains secrets that were sealed by the First Hokage. Secrets known only to our village!” said Yajirobee.  Iwana added, “If it falls into the wrong hands, they could destroy our entire way of life.”

“Alright. Find him!” Third Hokage said, demanding the ninja to bring them here. The ninja scattered and Iruka stops at the building and searches for Naruto and Paul Gekko.

Elsewhere in the forest, Paul Gekko and Naruto are studying reading the scroll. Iruka walks up to them, and Naruto looks up. “Finally caught you.” said Iruka. Paul Gekko spoke to Iruka with a soft voice, “Iruka-san, Naruto will show me this amazing jutsu and everything will be okay. Right buddy?” “Yeah Paul Gekko” Naruto said. “Anyone who learns Jutsu from this scroll passes. Mizuki Sensei told me about it. Believe it. He told me where to find the scroll and this place…”

Iruka was shocked and learned that it was Mizuki’s doing. Iruka senses the incoming attack, and looks over his shoulder at the incoming Kunai. He pushed Paul Gekko and Naruto aside, taking the Kunai. It pushes Iruka back to the wall of the hut. Kunai are in the wall, some pinning Iruka there, and there’s one in his leg.

“So that’s the way it is, huh? I should’ve known.” Iruka said, looking at Mizuki. “Naruto! Don’t let Mizuki get the scroll! It contains forbidden Jutsu, that could put this village in grave danger. Mizuki used you to get the scroll for himself. For his own power.”

Paul Gekko and Naruto looks up at Mizuki, angry. “Mizuki! Why are they targeting us!?” Paul Gekko asked angrily. “Since the decree was mad 12 years ago, the Konoha Republic has been reborn into the new Galactic Empire.” said Mizuki. “What decree?  Naruto said confused. “That decree was made by this village and your attempting to spill the beans about the Eggman Empire’s dark secret. Is that it?!” Paul Gekko said.

“The decree is, no one can tell you the Nine-Tailed Fox is inside Naruto and the Eggman Empire’s decree is that the Eight Headed Serpent is inside you!” Mizuki answered evilly again. Naruto is shocked looking at Paul Gekko. “I’m sorry for not telling you this Naruto.” said Paul Gekko. “My parents died at the hands of an unknown assailant and he knew that I’m the Yamata no Orochi.”

“Stop it!” Iruka shouted. “I was afraid what the empire may do to me. The Eggman Empire was made 20,000 years ago after we were born. It’s my fault for dragging you into this Naruto.” Paul Gekko said with a sad tone. “No…! IT’S not your fault!!” said Naruto angrily.

Iruka bends over in pain, hands above the wound in his leg. “Iruka. Naruto never had a Mother or Father to care for him. He’s shut out of everything and doesn’t know why. Most people won’t even look at him. How would you feel if everywhere you went, people turned their backs on you? (Shows the desecrated stone faces) That’s why he gets in trouble. He’s hurting inside.” said the Third Hokage in Iruka’s thoughts.

“JUMP AND CRAWL NARUTO!” Said Paul Gekko, raising his voice higher. Mizuki throw his shuriken at Paul Gekko.

“PAUL GEKKO, NARUTO Get Down!” Iruka shouted. Paul Gekko covers Naruto’s head. Naruto looks up. Iruka is above him, the Shuriken sticking out of his back. Iruka coughs a little, in pain. Naruto, with drops of blood on his cheek, looks up at Iruka shocked.

“Y… You saved me?” said Paul Gekko shockingly.

“Because we’re the same. They didn’t have time for me. They just forgot I was there. My grades dropped. I became the class clown. I just wanted them to see me and know my name… It was hard… I know that’s how you feel Paul Gekko. You feel lonely and it hurts inside. And Konoha could’ve been there for you more. I let you down. I’m sorry. No one should have to suffer that much. No one should be alone like that.”

Naruto grabs Paul Gekko and drags him away from the AT-ST’s firing range, forcing it to run into the woods. Mizuki jumps, laughing at Iruka. “You saw that look in his eye, didn’t you?” Iruka stands up and pulls the Shuriken out of his back. “No. Naruto… Isn’t like that!” Iruka throws the Shuriken and Mizuki dodges and begins to hunt for the two boys.

In the Hokage’s Office, The Third Hokage is sitting down, looking at a crystal ball. “This is not good.” Said the Hokage thoughtfully. “If Naruto keeps tampering with the scroll, the seal that locks the Fox spirit inside of him could be broken, and the beast could come out. If that happens, I fear for us all.”

At the forest elsewhere, an AT-ST Walker was searching for Paul Gekko and Naruto and passes by. “I don’t know why it keeps chasing us?” Said Paul Gekko in a shaking tone. He turns and see Naruto hugging the scroll. Paul Gekko listens to the conversation between Iruka and Mizuki. “That’s not who Naruto is. He’s nothing like that. Naruto’s one of a kind, works hard and puts his whole heart into it. Sure he messes up sometimes, and everyone jumps on him… That’s what separates him from being a beast. He’s nothing like the Nine-Tailed Fox. He’s Naruto Uzumaki, of the village hidden in the leaves.”

Paul Gekko was in tears alongside Naruto. As Mizuki runs at Iruka with the Shuriken, Paul Gekko and Naruto jumps in between them, and head butts Mizuki in the stomach, sending him flying backwards. “If we mess this up Naruto, were doomed you know.” Said Paul Gekko with courageous words. “Take your best pick Paul. I’ll give it back to you a thousand fold!” Naruto answered, using his multi-shadow clone jutsu. Iruka was surprised at Naruto’s Jutsu.

They started to punch Mizuki into the ground and dealt a deadly blow. “Are you okay buddy.” Paul Gekko said. “Sorry. I kinda got carried away” Naruto said. “Naruto. Come here a minute. I’ve got something I want to give you.” Iruka said with a small smile. Iruka gives Naruto the headband with Paul Gekko smiling. “Well Done Naruto. You are now a Genin.” Paul Gekko said. “And to celebrate, I have a surprise. We’re going out for Ramen tonight.” Iruka declared.

After having a bit of Ramen, Paul Gekko apologized to Naruto for getting into a big mess. “There are things that I need to ask you?” Naruto said. “You see, the Great Toad Sage was killed protecting me from the giant monster. My clan was force to be slaves of the Galactic Empire that was made by the evil Eggman. He only cares about himself.” Paul Gekko continued speaking too Naruto.

Naruto said. “I believe that when Sonic the Hedgehog died during the Great Mobian Purge, some of the survivors managed to escape and formed the first group of galactic rebels.” Paul Gekko said in a calm voice. “The Galactic Rebels?” Naruto said. “Yes, the galactic rebels are led by the Atlantic Pirates.” Paul Gekko said kindly. “What are they?” Naruto asked. “They are the final generation of heroes that come in many forms of myths and legends.” Paul Gekko said as he showed a hologram of heroes in silhouettes including Ruby Rose, Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man. “Do you know where they are?”

“If this is about finding your friends in the Grand Line, I’m in.” Naruto said as he and Paul Gekko shake hands. This is how they form the Heroes of the Old and became partners in justice.

Elsewhere in a huge pirate ship, a mysterious man approaches Adam Atlantis. “Brother. I think it’s time to start the raid.” the mysterious voice said. Out of the shadows was Adam Atlantis. “I feel hope in my heart.” Adam said with the soft voice.

After getting on a boat Paul Gekko thanked the Third Hokage for letting him burrow it and letting Naruto come along. They set out on a journey to find the Atlantic Pirates in the Grand Line.
