As the clock struck midnight and the creaking of the dried up wood of the celestial house blended in with the whispers of the wind Luna shot her eyes open and woke up. When she got up the creaks from the floor became more prominent as she walked over to look out the window of her room noticing the full moon glowing in the sky right above the water. Leaving the water looking like obsidian glass as it pushes back and forth on top of the sand on the beach.
“The moon is so stunning tonight.” Luna said out loud, admiring the moon with the wind blowing gently across her face. As she says this she hears a creak from the floor as a shadowy figure appears behind her putting a heavy hand on her shoulder.
“I couldn't agree more,” a deep but firm voice says from behind Luna. In that moment when Luna hears this she feels a cold breeze on her neck as if a person breathed behind her. Leading Luna to turn and face the voice who replied to her but was left confused as nothing was there except the furniture in her room. Luna then brushed it off and went straight to her bed and fell asleep. In her dream she saw herself driving a motorcycle on a long highway with her wind blowing in the breeze from the momentum of the motorcycle into the sunset until the sky, sun, the highway, the plants, and her motorcycle melted together into nothingness.
As the hours passed and the sun went to bed claiming defeat over the moon once again, Luna woke up again except this time with a thirst for hunger leaving her in a daze. With her eyes turning red and pulsating as if they had their own heart beat, her natural instinct took over. Before she knew it, she was digging into a bunny as if she’s been starving for the past fifteen years with her hands stained red with blood, mouth covered in blood which were dripping onto her clothes. After coming back to reality and noticing her surroundings and the blood everywhere outside, Luna then eventually made it back inside the house without being noticed by anyone except the deep voice from the house.
“I see that you finally gave into your vampire instincts ms.celestial after a while of suppressing it.” the voice said to Luna.
“Who are you?” Luna asked her surroundings, as she can’t tell where the voice is coming from.
“I am…” the voice says as they reveal themselves to be a tall yet slender man with dark hair, piercing blue eyes, an all black outfit, and a black face mask. To match, leaving his eyes as a focal point”...Zachary Ms.Celestial.”
“Well Zachary, what are you doing here?” she says in a questioning manner as she walks up to this new, yet mysterious, person. He scoffs and then starts to reply.
“Well I am the ghost of this building, hell I was there when you settled your investment in this house my dear,” he says very calmly with no change in facial expression.
“Then why did you appear now out of the past few weeks i've been living here?” Luna says out of curiosity to gain more information about this new person or ghost that is in her house.
“I just wanted to observe you and get to know you better before I decided if I wanted to make an appearance or not.” Zachary said in monotone leading Luna to process it as the truth. And in that moment when Luna realized it was the truth her facial expression changed from content, to surprise, to shock, and finally horror. Luna then cleaned herself off to get rid of the blood on her clothes, face, and hand. As the days passed she began to notice that she's been more aware and paranoid about her surroundings. Checking every nick and cranny before walking, eating, or using the bathroom. She then began to hear voices from every angle no matter where she went. Outside or inside the house it never mattered, the voices were always there, but whenever she turned around nobody was there. At first she thought it was a figment of her imagination but she soon realized it wasn't made up as it happened every single day. And from that day forward Luna then realized that buying this house was the worst mistake she ever made because everywhere she went it wasn't just the voices that followed her, it was also the house. Draining her of her sanity while being attached to her like a leach. Leading Luna to eventually sink into the torment and paranoia. To swim with the fishes and sharks through the waves of the ocean and the seven seas . Like every single other previous owner of the Celestial house near the beach for centuries, and centuries for more years to come. Legend says that when you see a man in all black walking near the line of ocean where it meets the sand its Zachary waiting for the next person to fall victim to the old Celestial house near the beach where the moon shines bright over the sea leaving the water looking like obsidian glass passing back and forth on top of the sand on the beach never revealing the mystery in the shadows.
