As soon as I stepped out of the car I smelled the fresh air of Spain, I then grabbed my bags and headed into the new house. When I went to the pool area I heard my two dogs barking at the neighbors fence. When I turned to see what is was a tall brown dog was standing there, Obviously it was a German shepherd.  

"Aren't you adorable?" I said squinting at its collar. "Kika? Thats your name, huh?"

I reckoned the dog was a girl and as the dog walked in the direction of his house I walked in the direction of mine. It was a hot summer day and I wanted to get a swim out of it so I headed into my room to grab my swimsuit and then headed to the pool. I took a dive in but I heard the dog next door barking as I hit the water. I walked over to the large dog and stared over the fence.

"Are you lonely?" I turned to the dog  and he sat down, she didn't seem like an ordinary dog but maybe that was because his owners weren't around often and so he had learned things on his own.

I decided it was getting late so I headed up to my new bedroom and soon fell asleep but Kika was barking and barking. Luckily I managed to fall asleep easily due to how tired I was. I dreamt about the dog and dreamt about how odd he was.

Is he just a dog?
