Hi. My name is Felan. Felan Fairway. I live with my mother and am almost eighteen. When I do turn eighteen, I'm going to be leaving. This is how my day begins. One, have my mother yell at me to get my ass downstairs. Two, ignore said mother and get dressed before saying fuck it and climb out the window with my school things. I'm pretty much an emo but with brown hair instead of black. I have violet eyes and no friends. When I get to school, people pretty much start to shove and yell at me. But I don't care. I can take them any day. I'm always the first to get to my class and sit in the back, near the window so I can listen to music and stare up at the sky. My favorite song is Silent Scream by Anna Blue. The day started out normal with the popular kids being worried about nothing but what will happen at the upcoming game. I just rolled my eyes and put my music on, ignoring everyone and everything. Until the new kid came and sat by me. I didn't hear him at first, but he tapped on my shoulder and I turned to look at him. I pulled out my ear bud. "Hi. I'm Alexter. What's your name?" He said, holding out his hand.

I looked at it then at him. "I'm Felan." I said. Ignoring his hand. Soon enough he would learn from the others not to talk to me. He slowly lowered it and cleared his throat. "Um, so what's your favorite color?" He asked.

I stayed silent for a moment. "Electric Green. Like a circuit board." I responded. He smiled at bit.

"So do you like electronics or just that color?" He asked.

Instead of answering his question, I asked him one instead. "Why are you talking to me?" He looked a bit startled.

"Why wouldn't I?" He asked.

"Because I'm the outcast of the school." I responded casually.

"Oh. Well you seem pretty interesting." He said. I shrugged.

"Not really." I said, ending the conversation by putting my ear bud back in.
