"How do you know that, Dad?" the young ultra named Maxus shouted back at Xenon in the middle of the chase.
"I heard that from Fuma! He said you skipped 80-san's class today!" Xenon shouted.
"It was Fuma who told Dad. You'll have to watch out, Fuma," Maxus thought. "At this rate, I'll have to use this method."
Then Maxus used his duplicating move to make it difficult for Xenon to chase him. Suddenly, Xenon was surprised when Maxus used that move.
"Just because you have your father's genes, you use them to outwit your father! Watch out if you get caught! I won't spare you!" threatened Xenon. But Maxus didn't care about his father's threats. He and his duplicates kept running here and there, making it difficult for Xenon to catch up with his son.
Because it was difficult to catch Maxus, Xenon was forced to call Max with an ultra sign.
Right when Xenon sent the ultra sign, Max was with Gaia.
"Xenon asked for my help," Max said.
"Really? What's wrong?" asked Gaia.
Max looked at Gaia with an expression like someone who was tired of one thing.
"Oh, I see. It's about Maxus, right? It's okay, you just go first," Gaia said.
After that, Max left for Xenon's location.
Six hours later,
Xenon and Max caught Maxus and sent him home. Maxus looked sulky because he had been jabbed three times by Xenon for his actions.
"That's it! Don't ever skip 80-san's class again, got it?" Xenon scolded after they got home, while the boy just looked down weakly while enduring the pain in his head. Max just shook his head as he looked at his only child.
"Now go to your room, Maxus!" Xenon ordered Maxus. Reluctantly, Maxus walked into his room and closed the door.
"I wonder where he got that trait from?" asked Xenon.
"Probably from you," Max replied.
"No kidding. When I was his age, I wasn't like that," said Xenon. "Maybe it's from you."
"Xenon, don't remind me of that," Max said.
"Yes, yes. I'm sorry," said Xenon.
Meanwhile, in Maxus' room, Maxus was looking at the sky through the window.
"I would love to be able to go into space like my friends. They can go to other planets, especially Earth. Why did dad and papa forbid me to go out of the Land of Light?" said Maxus.
The next day, Maxus went to the ultra's training ground. There he met Z and the tri-squad.
"Maxus! I thought you weren't coming!" Z exclaimed.
"Actually, I didn't want to come because I'm still upset with someone," Maxus replied while looking at Fuma with annoyance.
Fuma, who realized that Maxus was staring at him, spoke up. " See, yesterday Xenon-san asked me, "Where's Maxus?", so I had to tell him that you skipped 80-san's class again."
"But because of you, my father scolded me!" grumbled Maxus.
"But if you hadn't skipped class, your father wouldn't have gotten mad at you!" said Fuma.
Maxus, who realized the arrival of his two friends, immediately shut up and turned his face away from Fuma.
"Maxus, don't pout like that, Smile, smile!" said Trigger.
"Maxus is angry because Fuma told Xenon-san that he skipped 80-san's class," said Titas.
"Skipping class again? Hey, Maxus. You've already skipped 80-san's class for 14 times," Decker said.
Maxus was still upset.
"Maxus, I know you're jealous of us. But skipping 80-san's class is wrong," Z reprimanded.
"I don't envy you guys. It's just, why don't my parents allow me to go out of the Land of Light. Do they think I can't take care of myself? I can take care of myself!" grumbled Maxus.
Everyone fell silent.
"Maxus, I'm sure your parents have their reasons for not letting you," Trigger said.
"What reason? Taiga and Z were allowed to leave the Land of Light by their father, why not me?" grumbled Maxus.
"Maxus...," Trigger tried to engage Maxus in conversation, but Maxus swatted away Trigger's hand.
"Ah, never mind, now I'm too lazy to train with you guys!" Maxus grumbled, then he walked away from his friends, not caring if Z shouted his name.
The six of them fell silent.
"No one told him that?" asked Decker.
"I could have, but...," Trigger was unable to finish his sentence as he remembered the message from Tiga.
"But all the ultras said to never mention that name, especially not in front of Maxus," said Titas.
"Leo-san and Astra-san also warned me not to say that name in front of Max-san and Maxus," Fuma added.
"Me too. My father said not to mention that name in front of Max-san or when we're with Maxus," Taiga said.
"'We did, too. We could have explained it to Maxus, but we remembered the message from Tiga-san and Dyna-san," Decker said.
"That's right. I don't dare mention F-R-O-," Z did not finish the word he had just spelled when Taiga swiftly covered his mouth.
"No need, Z. There's no need to spell it," Taiga said, then he removed one of his hands that was covering Z's mouth.
"Sorry. I thought if I spelled his name, it wouldn't be a problem," Z said. "But to be honest, Master Zero once hit me over it."
"Really? Because of what?" asked Titas.
"Because I accidentally said that name in front of Max-san. Master Zero immediately hit me and scolded me because I shouldn't have said that name in front of Max-san," Z replied.
"Really? Then how did Max-san react?" asked Decker.
Z shook his head. "It's hard to explain. But clearly, he was terrified. He was crying like he was going to be hurt by someone. Anyway, Max-san's mental state was completely messed up after I mentioned that name," Z replied.
