The Perfect Ending

the start.

the start.

Apr 04, 2020

There was a man driving a van.

He found another man that had been downed,

by an elephant that had been crowned

as the king of the town

by defeating the mayor that was on the ground.

Without even making a sound,

the town’s people had gathered around

and had started cheering the elephant.

As the town’s people made their voices resound.

The man in the van was left with a frown,

He was surprised.

Never could his mind have comprised a story so fictionalized.

“This is madness” said the man in the van

“why are you not all full of sadness?”

enquired the van in the man.

“ It’s because he had no kindness” replied the town’s people “Look at his stomac’s fatness. You’re only saying that because you never experienced his meanness” fired the angry people at the man with the frown.

“ AH. I see” said the man in the van.

He looked down and didn’t make a sound.

He had judged the books by their looks,

instead of looking for the truth within the pages.

He looked away from their faces, as he felt their scrutinizing

gazes.

The Elephant looked at the man and happily smiled.

He spoke clearly as he said “I understand how you feel ‘traveler’"

"We are going to celebrate, now that everything is reconciled."

“Don’t be shy we accept all here! I’ll help you if you have trouble with our drinking culture.

“The food here is so good the obligation to eat it must be entailed.”

The man in the van though reluctant

opened the door

and stepped on the vast desert floor.

He hadn’t noticed before

because of the comforting and cooling air

from the van that he couldn’t feel anymore.

The air was dry and the sun was bright

and the heat was reaching a blistering height. Leaving the van brought him nothing but dread.

So he hurried to the elephant in order to be fed.

Though the beaming light was bright the dark world prevailed.

As his drowning eyelids struggled to stay assail.

“This way” said the elephant

noticing the traveler’s distress.

He could not disappoint his very first guest.

To comfort him, he would have to do his best.

If a mayor could not even entertain a guest,

His respect would be tarnished and he would have to let someone else do the rest.

They entered a good old western bar,

the owner had been preparing for the feast,

You could tell as the delicious smell increased.

Watering mouths would come from afar

To taste the treasures hidden within the bar.

They ate and drank until dawn

when the elephant asked a question

“Would you like to hear a riddle?” he yawned

"Why not” said the man without circumvention The elephant shuffled closer to protect his riddle from outside intervention.

The elephant smirked and said

“Tell me the name of the five”

“It can be found in yours and mine”

“The five may come to assist you or oppose you”

“You cannot choose, as your fate is already due”

“You're future is impossible to create as it is indefinitely ended”

“That is the only law of which the five are offended”

Time passed as the traveler stared into the empty sky.

He was no longer in the bar, for when the owner closed the doors they had to comply.

It was a strange world, it seemed vast and incomplete.

He kept his eyes to the skies as he got off the bench and back on his feet.

He got back into the van,

sat comfortably on the driver’s seat and turned on the fan

It’s strange how the temperature changes

in the dessert.

He trusted the thermostat would choose the right temperature with little effort.

The desert fell silent as the cold night prevailed.

The man got comfortable with his blanket and throughout the town the ship of sleep sailed.

I've already posted this but tapas messed it up and I didn't realized that it had been automatically made into a comic so here is the same thing but without cool text,
easier to upload and classified as a novel...
